I'm too young to remember Riverside, so this is fascinating.
Cool, thanks for uploading this. Got to watch this race live and cruise the pits with camera.
Thank you for sharing this historic race 👍
It would have been interesting to see if Newman could have indeed held off a hard charging Pruitt. Good stuff! Thanks for posting this video.
I was there, scored Trackside Bud Pavilloin ( next to esses〰️) tickets waiting in line to park, Newman reall impressed me , consistently in top Ten spots during the Race. The resrt of the day was 🔥 hot, Free beer & lunch,, Trackside...🏁 great memory !! Found this by search hooray
What an amazing post! Thanks for the video!
Jim Vet here, I love this, Rock On Paul, RIP / Paul Newman was the real deal, He was a real contender. I like the 280Z. good car, stuff happens.
Awesome mix of cars & engines. These days are the best!
Shedded a tear or two during this one. Many great memories
Excellent, thanks. Scott Pruett is one of the best of all time, maybe _the_ best, in this kind of race car. These 'stock cars' or 'silhouette cars' had some technical aspects in common, as was mentioned, including stock engine blocks, tubular steel chassis, and sports car size and weight.
Remember when they put in 7A. Never did figure out a good exit on 6. I just followed the crowd.
Bit like an Australian Sports Sedan race with the different manufacturers and powerplants
Wait, hold on. Did I just saw Bob Barker's name on here? At 8:54
So Roush was running in house developed turbo four as opposed to Zakspeed turbo four?
rip RKE
Barren cointeyside between Los Angeles and Riverside? Now its wall to wall townhouses and strip malls.
Miller didn't see him: hit him
Really boring coverage...
