1958 12 Hours of Sebring
This video was produced by Alex Xydias. The 1958 12-Hour Florida International Grand Prix of Endurance for the Amoco Trophy took place on March 22, 1958 on the Sebring International Raceway. It was the second round of the F.I.A. World Sports Car Championship. Peter Collins and Phil Hill won (Ferrari 250 TR 58), followed by their team-mates Luigi Musso and Olivier Gendebien (Ferrari 250 TR 58), and the Porsche 718 RSK of Harry Schell and Wolfgang Seidel third.

What an insane era.
Yup, it’s dated, amateurish, full of bluster and inaccuracies and aimed at a generic and largely uniformed audience, a true presentation of it’s time. And glorious and all the more informative to we lucky people living now, most of whom would not have experienced such a viewpoint before.
