But Supreme court can do little since it has been more than 40 years. The FIRs, Witnesses( many of them are no more ), family members of victims some died or some moved to another place , many committees being set up to investigate (it's like scratching the same thing which has been corrupted by Congress and other law enforcement officials ). What I feel is Congress must come clean,apologize and accept its involvement. And don't associate itself with those who did this and if there are still some Congress members who are on trial then swift winding up of case and appropriate sentence must follow.

I humbly thank you for being unbiased and not providing twisted facts which most media networks do to defame sikh militants.

I'm hindu. My grandfather's brother died in the riots wherein he was crushed under an auto, by a mob of Hindu men. He had a long beard and long hair that he had tied. (That's how they tell us) And thus the mob thought he was a Sikh. It was a bad bad thing for both the communities, and i wish we could justin stop it back then. P.S. I love Sikhs and their culture ♥️

well anuj, bari masjid i dont agree its birth place of ram, im maharashtrian brahmin from bhat clan, my ancestors came from himachal a small town called tulanj to fight mughals, along with marathas who are rajputs, gujjars and few other clans combined, they all together with hindu khatri;s of khukran assasinated ahmed shah abdali who was a turk/pashtun mix. You also are descended from khatri from ur surname, its history u cant start from zero, Ram mandir has to be there. With sikhs those guys are ex-hindus they are still us, operation blue star and khalistan movement is kind of stupid in my opinion, founders of sikhism would be very disappointed with all what hindus/sikhs are fighting, in like almost 500 years of history when sikhism was founded there was never an incident between a hindu and sikh or buddhist. Most sikh names are harbinder (hari) its name of ram. But one thing is for sure there is massive inferiority complex in india and more so in punjab there is massive inferiority complex and even identity-crisis.

I disagree with the fact that Mr Rajeev Gandhi was justifying the riots. actually your own senior journalist Mr vinod dua in his program "Jan gan mann ki baat" told that Mr Rajeev Gandhi gave this statement before the incident of riots took place. he meant to say that people were severely hurt and disturbed by the assassination of Mrs Indira Gandhi

There should be fast track court for such communal riots. Culprits must be brought to book and punished irrespective of their allegiance to Political Party. Since this is a matter of JUSTICE, Chief Justice of India should take such matters in hand & deliver impartial justice to citizens of India.

यह योजना बंद तरीके से सिखों का नरसंहार था। सरकार द्वारा वोटिंग लिस्ट से sikho की घरों की पहचान बताई गई।

Two things that i must point out: 1. A few years back i read in India Today how Sanjay Gandhi (if i remember correctly) interviewed Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale and many other 'prospective' leaders to further congress's interests in Punjab. Bh8ndrawale was selected as he was aggressive in approach. He later turned against the Congress and rest is history. Pls investigate this aspect and also also how Congress tried to mix religion n politics and are still called a 'secular' party. 2. Its not true that the Golden Temple complex was not harmed. There still are bullet marks inside d Golden temple.

@MOHUN PUDUKODU RAGHUPATHY well... how was personal threat to Bhindrawale's life (by sending Army to kill him) an example of he n Congress working together ? That they both ended up benefiting from the conflict is a different matter as by then Bhindra had become the darling of his bhakts and Indira Gandhi the enemy, and IG being the darling of India and Bhindra being the enemy of the state. I dont think apart from the initial collusion there was anything else going on between them, other than acrimony.

I was just making clear that there didnt seem to be any "agreed upon" pact b/w Bhindra and Indira during the armed struggle period. It just so happened that both ended up benefiting from each other's insane actions (Bhindra more than Indira). All in all, an utterly sad chapter in the history of our country.

The narration was a little monotonous and robot like.... I am not saying to express unnecessary emotions but there are certain pauses necessary... I think... Video can be improved... Using more animation... I would suggest the creators to have a look of the videos of channels scroll.in and the quint... Still it was far good than contemporary ones... Keep it up
