Yeap u sure do, so much love was shown in 1947 partition which was actually a partition between punjab not India or Pakistan. Then every time India further divided Punjab and that was not enough, 1984 was the year when Real love was shown, and from 1988 to 1993 40000+ young sikh men from ages 15 to 35 were picked up from their homes and brutally murdered, and in 2021 when Sikhs were called khalistani for just protesting for farm bills and had nth to do with khalistan yet those people were labeled as khalistani. Then after giving 90% sacrifices and you are still being called traitor then what more u want? How many slaps u really want on your face before you realize that india is not Sikhs Country.

Feel disturbed to see you having such feelings. Don't worry at all, the Sikhs are like the blood vessels of our nation & a very respectful community. Hindus in fact consider them as part of their very own family due to historical reasons, long time back the eldest son in a Hindu family would become a Sikh for the protection of Hindus in Punjab. The small community is considerably very large in the Defence forces & are a very respected lot. They are known for their hard work & jollyfulness. Salute to these bravehearts.

Countless individual apologies may still not heal the fractured heart, many Sikhs don't acknowledge the painful and ugly facts about the victims of the Bhinderwales campaign. Innocent victims were mercilessly mowed down for their faith and identity. It was a senseless agenda and everyone share the blame. Rather than expecting others to apologize SGPGC should hold up the Sikh tradition and apologies to thousands of Nihangs and Hindu families for the act of the Bhindrawales group. Hopefully, it will start the introspection and reconciliation process of the heart of the entire nation.

What a Shame that 19000 innocent hindus were killed by extremist Khalistani Sikhs and no one mentions them. PM Indira Gandhi was killed by Sikhs. Sikhs planned an unnecessary partition of India. Hated hindus for no reason. Targeting hindus and temples abroad. Hated India which gave them more than others for no reason. Sikhs opened fire on Indian Army which they were coming to capture Bhindranwale. Yet this Sikh community is just acting like a victim and abusing hindus till date which treated them like brother and gave Sikh community their eldest sons. Siding with Islamists and jihadi. Shameless and thankless they are. The most wanted criminals of India won't burn India's flag but Sikh community doesn't think twice about it. And he is saying Sikhs do not hate India. Congress was in power that time but they abuse Modi and BJP. Cos they simply hate hindus. Let's not fall in this sugar coated sentences of this podcast and accept the facts. For them Amritpal is a Sikh Soldier. And Hindus have this bad habit of falling in such traps. Those who think Sikhs saved Hindus. Need to go back to proper history and check. Hindus saved themselves. Like they save themselves even till today. Modi arrested the main culprits of 1984 and gave CAA rights to Sikhs.. Still thankless.

There were enough weapons inside to hold the Indian Army for 2 days.. why are the Sikhs not offended by this and what would they expect a government to do ? Did they not know and realise that such weapons couldn't have come in Without the help of Pakistan ? My question being that the Sikh community was offended by the Indian Army entering but were they not offended and hurt by what Bhindranwale and gang were doing inside their holy place in complete conduit of Pakistan in an attempt to break India ? @@thebrigadierscottageThe Akal Takht was designed by Guru Hargobind to be the place of congregation for the Sikh army. Bhindranwale saw himself and his comrades as an army for the Khalsa and were against the perceived injustices that the Indian government were involved in. We both know the Indian government is excellent at controlling media coverage and idolising their MPs all while hiding horrific crimes against humanity under the rug, and Bhindranwale saw that as injustice which must be eradicated as per the Khalsa’s function. Sikhs were free to decide whether they agreed with Bhindranwale or not. However, when that government decided to barge into the the holiest place for ALL Sikhs in the world, a place steeped in religious history, and destroyed important architecture and killed hundreds, that was unacceptable. Not only that, the Indian government also decided to instill disinformation campaigns across the country to villainise Sikhs, causing many more people to be burned alive on the streets and have their homes destroyed by rioters and police. That disinformation campaign has continued today, where now Sikhs are just called another type of Hindu, or warriors that were created to protect Hinduism, or even that the Gurus were regular Hindus because of things like Guru Tegh Bahadurs’ martyrdom. The atrocities committed against Sikhs have been censored by the government and then attempts have been made to merge Sikh culture in with the rest of Hindu culture to try and claim Sikh history as a broader Hindu history as well as hide the pain caused by the government. Do you see why a lot Sikhs hate the Indian government?

What about 35000 Hindus killed in Indian Punjab during decade of 1980-90? Why don't we ever talk about that? Binderwala and his goons removed Hindus from groups and killed all Hindus and not Sikhs and muslims. The count of 35000 includes kids and women too. Why is it that Hindu life is so cheap? While Hindus were killed in Punjab - NO SINGLE SIKH WAS EVEN TOUCHED OUTSIDE PUNJAB except when Indira Gandhi was killed. Until today no government has won with that amount of votes. Plus Hindus went into the darbar sahib after the attack with sweets. It's crystal clear Sikhs have no place in India.

While I agree that the Sikhs absolutely deserve an unconditional apology from us ... We were very young in 84 , when this happened but one question has always bothered me , Sikhs always Blame the Then PM for attacking the Golden Temple... but I've never heard anyone ever ask how did so many weapons and bombs enter The Gurudwara... what were Bhindranwale and Gen Shahbeg Singh doing inside and why Bhindranwales Taking over the Akal Takht not outrage the Sikhs? There were enough weapons inside to hold the Indian Army for 2 days.. why are the Sikhs not offended by this and what would they expect a government to do ? Did they not know and realise that such weapons couldn't have come in Without the help of Pakistan ? My question being that the Sikh community was offended by the Indian Army entering but were they not offended and hurt by what Bhindranwale and gang were doing inside their holy place in complete conduit of Pakistan in an attempt to break India ? I would really like to know this x..

There are reports of Hindu massacres in Punjab before 1984, however, the extent and severity of these massacres is a matter of debate. Some sources claim that thousands of Hindus were killed in Punjab during this time, while others claim that the number of deaths was much lower. One of the most well-known incidents of anti-Hindu violence in Punjab occurred in 1978, when a group of Sikhs attacked the village of Nirankari and killed 13 Hindus. This incident was followed by a number of other attacks on Hindus in Punjab, including the assassination of Hindu leaders and the burning of Hindu temples. The violence against Hindus in Punjab escalated in the early 1980s, as the Sikh separatist movement gained momentum. In 1982, a group of Sikhs assassinated the Hindu Chief Minister of Punjab, Beant Singh. This assassination was followed by a wave of violence against Hindus in Punjab, which left hundreds of people dead. The anti-Hindu violence in Punjab culminated in the 1984 Sikh riots, which occurred after the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by two of her Sikh bodyguards. In the riots, thousands of Sikhs were killed across India, including in Punjab. It is difficult to say definitively how many Hindus were killed in Punjab before 1984. The available data is incomplete and there are different estimates of the number of deaths. However, it is clear that there was a significant amount of violence against Hindus in Punjab during this time. It is important to note that the violence against Hindus in Punjab was not one-sided. There were also instances of violence against Sikhs by Hindus. Additionally, it is important to remember that the majority of Sikhs in Punjab did not participate in the violence against Hindus. The violence against Hindus in Punjab was a tragic chapter in Indian history. It is important to remember the victims of this violence and to work towards ensuring that such violence never happens again.

1984 riots is not a reason for you guys to disrespect our National flag & attack 300 unarmed police officers with swords by hiding behind so-called farmers protest. How come SC/ST Sikhs in Punjab are attacked & killed by other sikhs for keeping Guru Grant Saheb in their house? Is that what Guru Nanak ji taught you? Also, is it right to kill a 13 year old kid under the pretext of blasphemy that too inside the gurudwara? 1984 riots were horrible but you are blaming the wrong people for it. The truth is you are following Pakistani ISI's Sikhism & not Guru Nanak ji's Sikhism.

Wow! I have to say, I learnt a lot from this video! And I understand the injustice that the Sikhs have faced after all the vital contributions they made for India's freedom struggle. But let's not forget that the root cause of this violence was the poor leadership from the Congress Government at the time which is not in power anymore. And this was not the case only with the Sikhs: another very prominent religion in Kashmir was targeted and wiped out for their beliefs by a so called 'peaceful community' under the leadership of the Congress Government. This loss hasn't been reconciled either and we have learned to live with it and also learned from our mistakes. So, I encourage the Hindu and Sikh community to not be diverted by certain attempts by other divisive groups. It is all a plot to make us relive our past misery.

(Just not clearly reported, doesn't make it any less of an autoctity). Should I remind of Mopilah? Or Noakhali? Or Operation Searchlight in Bangladesh? You look around and you'd see two countries carved out just so they couldn't stand Pegan Hindus signts. Do I need to remind you that Sikhis and Advaita vedanta similarity and how Sanatana Shastra are core to Sikhism because of the Hindu origin of it? We all are intially persecuted because we stood for our Dharma and the Abrahamics are still on to us. The difference is that Gurus don't see Hindus as different units but a sect along with it. And the present, so called youth, due to identity politcs wish to make difference out of everything just to feel unique.

What happened with Sikhs in 1984 is brutal and unacceptable. But Khalistaan issue is prior to that. Ignited by external forces, if I am not mistaken.

Very true .... external forces along with some anti-national groups were behind the creation of the idea of khalistan , much much before 1984 !! We too know that the Khalistanis neither represent the whole of the Sikh community nor do they follow the Sikhi ....but to say that the idea of khalistan was conceived only after 1984 is not acceptable according to the records!! The then congress government just picked up opportunity to make the prevailing idea to a full blown label and the rest is history....

Summary: It was a "no one cares" thing before 1984. Media and all anti-Sikh forces continued to shove it down the throat of Sikhs who simply asked for Anandpur Resolution and their other rights. Post 1984, it became a knee jerk reaction thing. Just like if we falsely keep accusing and torturing an innocent person about being a thief, eventually he says "fine, let me be a thief for real now". I hope this perspective makes it clear?

I am really sorry for what the Sikh community has gone through. Similar genocide happened with the Kashmiri Hindus. In my opinion we must protest against the Congress government who never validated or acknowledged the happening of any incidences. Why make a different religion/ country of one of the most treasured community whose contribution to India is beyond recognition. Let's stay together and fight against the real culprits 😊

but he didn't even touch the topic How hundreds of Hindus were killed and lakhs forced to flee Punjab due to Sikh Terrorism...our neighbours relative also forced to run away from Punjab at that time and they stayed in our village for long time. how Sikh Terrorist used to abduct girls and sexually harass them and how they made the Harmandir Sahib their safe sanctuary whr dy used to do all sorts of immoral and illegal things. yet no sikh call out those sikh terrorist rather defend them and justify or simply reject the atrocities on Hindus just like muslims do when it comes to Hindus in Kashmir. this is where problem lies as they don't want to accept their mistake but want others to apologise.

That's what the role of a real influencer is, to spread the real word. I feel grateful that people have finally started understanding what Sikh Community has gone through in all these years and the very reason why all this fight for KHALISTAN had started, trust me we want SHEER JUSTICE and not KHALISTAN, BUT if this is how the government would keep on treating the community like, I guess not just SIKHS, if it was for even another community they too would choose to separate and live peacefully. I hope such people full of wisdom and knowledge keep spreading the real word❤️ Harinder Singh ji has my respect and now Ranveer you too have it...!!!💫 Glad I got a chnace to listen to him on your podcast now, I shall be listening to most of them...

@Murugesan Jegannathan Sir your question has an assumption that all of Punjab population is Sikh. Please have a look at census statistics of the state. Further, as one brother has already said, the political history of the state has been (and still is) complex. The typical polar votebank phenomenon doesn't apply to the state of Punjab.

Sikhs always talk about 1984 riots. It was wrong and should not have happened. But it was not Hindu Sikh riot. It was clearly done by Congress and lead by someone who is a known Christian- it was not a Christian - Sikh riot either. Every human life is precious. I never see anyone talk about the Hindu killings by SIKHS in Punjab- why?????
