First car I bought myself was a 75 Duster. Unfortunately it was a slant 6, but it did have a manual transmission 3 speed on the floor. Loved it. Yours is a beauty

This rascal is looking pretty awesome! I really like the 416, part. I never could decide, what to paint on my scoop. A .40 over 413 is a 421.7. I didn't want nothing is common with a Pontiac, lol

Ive always wanted a 70-72 duster bc of the shark tooth grill but if a 73-74 was available for cheap id definitely buy it and just do a shark tooth grill conversion

sounds healthy . i have a 71 duster factory 340 four speed . my motor has a comp cams hydraulic roller , edelbrock aluminum heads with hughes roller rocks , lunati roller lifters , air gap intake with a holley 750 ultra hp carb and hooker super comp headers .

I have owned a 64 1/2 Barricada, 68, 69, 70, 73 Darts, a 76 Aspen Coupe, 68 Coronet, 68 Satellite, 69 Sport Satellite and I currently own a 96 Ram Sport with a 360 cid Magnum... I have never owned a Duster but my grandma did! 😊

Nice! What tire sizes are you using? On my 74 Duster I currently have 225/50R17 on the front and 255/50R17 on the rears. I'm actually thinking about changing the wheels and going up to 245/45R17 on the fronts and 275/40R17 on the rears.

Ran one of these as my dedicated drag car w/ a 383 bored .040 over and built w/ all of the latest, greatest tips and tricks (for '79), including a de-burring of block, balancing of rotating assembly, three-angle valve job, etc. at ~ $1000. Never owned a vehicle that ran stronger or smoother than that old Duster w/ that bullet-proof automatic tranny that would chirp the tires in every gear. Almost lost my license w/ all of the tickets I got in that car. lol

so would you do this with a factory 340 car or start with a slant 6 car ?---- i have a 73 factory 340 - 727 automatic car --- would it kill its value to stroke my 340 to a 416 --- or swap a modern hemi and 8 speed into it?

My first car was a 70 340 Duster. As I understand.Warner wanted too much for the rights for the Tazemaning devil.So they came up with the Duster twister instead.Much better instead I think.
