I had a 1970 Duster in 1977 with a 340. Wish I still had it. Nothing like the smell of Mopar exaust in the morning with a cup of coffee.
Absolutely beautiful, looks like you spared no expense, that car is stunningly awesome

Sits beautiful.. Awesome profile. Would be an excellent purchase.
My dad had a Duster and that buzzer used to drive me nuts. Incredible car. Looks great
I would like to get in contact with whoever purchased this car.
Beautiful car, love the color. MOPAR power
shame about that drivers side rear quarter being fucked up looked nice, that a dent or bad bondo?
Really nice ! Great price !!!
Nice daily runner you got there. I got my 340 Duster for $1,400 from original owner back in 1980. Fun on cruise nights.
Had a 1971 slant six manual 225, It wasn't fast but the engine wouldn't die!
Color's a throwback of Winchester Gray of early 70s,love it 👍
I miss my 71 Duster so bad!
WOW GOOD PRICE

WOW, thats a good deal for someone who wants a true old muscle car for cheap $$$$$, probably egt some 12 second time slips with some traction, 15 grand when a veloster R spec is 25
What size wheels/tires and axel does it have? And bolt pattern. Can't seem to find the torque thrusts that fit the car, were any modifications necessary?
Still available?

What's up with the fake hood scoop it looks like it was glued on and why couldn't you run the exhaust to the back of the car with some nice Mopar tips. Everything else looks pretty nice but why Short change it.
@OxBlitzkriegxO
4 жыл бұрын
agree on the hood scoop but a lot of times people terminate the exhaust like that to save weight and money. also, it gives the car A LOT more drone around 2000rpm and for some reason, people think thats cool i guess.
Nice, but who does a complete build and doesn't enjoy it for at least a little while?

Update - disregard
That's not a serpentine drive chief. Too many puffs off the el roacho at 2:31
Too much rear tire for those wheel wells.
Looks good,but looks can be deceiving. If you're looking to buy one of these older vehicles. It's always a good idea to take it in and have it checked out by a professional. They know what to look for. Previous repairs,rust repair,other stuff you might miss just because it looks really good on top. I like these cars, I had a 318 74 Duster. Someone put a built 360 in it. I bought it for $375 at a auction back in about 1997. Fun car...😀
Who be what
Very nice. But the 9” .... 8.75” or Dana 60 would have been my pick.
I'd own that. Really nice job. Good price too. But that's not a restoration, that's bullshit to say.

@ my 1st car was a 225 slant 6 and man that motor sucked . Wish I coulda put something else . At least a 318 .
4 жыл бұрын
@@soulerflare7 Don't underestimate that 318 either.. Smallblock Chrysler engines have a unique head design that has little to no exhaust interferences and if built right can hold their own against the big blocks.. Now about that leaning tower of MOPAR.... Although the 225's may not be top performers on the track, you would be hard pressed to find a harder working, more durable and dependable engine. This is no lie...i legit shit u not.. I also had a 74 Valiant that i drove 2 work daily.. One bad winter i had neglected to add antifreeze on MORE THAN one occasion and that water froze rock solid.. Im talking water pump and all had froze locked up tight... I needed to get to work badly and i boiled several pots of water and started pouring it on and inside the radiator... No lie, i got it thawed and started up without a single problem!!! Had it been a chevy or ford engine it would have cracked seals, block and heads. I couldn't believe it and will never forget it.
@soulerflare7

@ correction, my 225 sucked . Some old lady owned it and neglected it , and it had so much sludge built up from neglect . She probably never got that bad boy above 2000 rpm .
@soulerflare7
4 жыл бұрын
@ old men too , my grandfather swore by it lol .
4 жыл бұрын
@@soulerflare7 yep... It was due the aggressive advertising of their day.. I have a 50 year old can of QS that was my grandpas. It was HORRIBLE for inner city engines especially chrysler and Ford motors. Notorious for sludging up a low rpm engine. And the worst thing that could happen was if another owner who aquired it and then started using it on highway mostly. Then the sludge would turn into a rock hard, almost shale like substance. You'd pull the valve covers off and it be like removing a mold. Wouldn't even be able to see the valve springs and rockers lol.. Quaker state was bad....mkay?
