Legendary 1970 Plymouth Duster "Crop Duster" Rebuilt! | Roadkill Garage | MotorTrend

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Watch more full episodes here: bit.ly/2JqZJa1
The Crop Duster is Roadkill's back-to-basics street and strip machine with big-block power. And after years of paint and body work, it's finally time to piece the Crop Duster back to life. Freiburger and Dulcich get the engine and trans back in the freshly-painted beauty after adding some extra cubic inches. The 383 has been stroked to 440ci and finally fires up, and then it's time for some burnouts! #RoadkillGarage #Roadkill #MotorTrend

Hey guys love the show. Easy fix for the sagging hood, I’m a bodyman and have seen this issue a few times in my day. Every time you add material to stiffen the hood which also adds weight, which works against you. I put a bump stop under the center of the hood on the cowl and problem solved. Quick cheap and easy !

No engine builder likes to see his work ABUSED needlessly. That's just a FACT not a pussified moment. Blow it up while trying to get that extra 1/10th second shaved off your best 1/4 mile time and he can easily live with it and understands completely. On the other hand? Blow it up doing silly burnouts. That's just annoying and makes a builder ask, "What were you thinking?" followed up closely by "You're a dumbass!"

Peter (of "The Peter Principle) called "creative incompetence" -- If you intentionally make a mess of something you don't want to do, someone else will do the job for you. This technique can also be used to avoid being promoted from a job you like into, oh, say, management.
