Love to see ( the ol guy) L.O.L Ken, up helping. Maybe I should be more careful about age, meant as a compliment. You remind me so much of my DAD that I could almost cry today. Because, as a kid and in to my adult years,(I'm 63), I never paid attention to him and usually messed up when done by myself! How I so wished I could go back in time and do over my ignorance. Anyway, really nice garage and build. Anybody that reads this, this guy is ( Top Shelf ) and one of the few guys knows the correct way to prepare and pour concrete! A LEGEND!!!!

I appreciate the prices being posted. It gives viewers a reference point if they are getting estimates for similar work. It is also indicative of a builder's ethics and honesty. The majority of builders with social media channels consider project prices and estimates to be "proprietary." They'll tell you that the costs are dependent on market fluctuations, labor costs, materials availability and other double-speak, when in reality the prices are based on their need for cash at the moment, whether 1/2 of their crew is sick, hungover or in jail or rehab, and the estimated net worth of the client.

Sir, does your customers pay you in full or in payments? I see that you put the price for some porch builds ...
This looks weird with no comments here. So fresh.

Noticed you do a lot of prebuilt truss style construction. I know trusses go up quick but what's the cost difference when doing this "stick built' instead of truss style for a roof?
@kenskarpentry

I prefer the store bought trusses for liability reasons
another great looking garage from the pro , is that price of 35k for from slab up complete ?

Great job! Great videos! I’ve never seen anyone lay metal roofing directly to the roof sheathing, why no strapping? Thx John
@kenskarpentry

Thanks. I have used strapping when covering a shingled roof. I’ve never seen it done on new construction though. Interesting. I’ll research that.
Pretty spiffy.

Sorry I’ve never been so busy in all my life. We are booked for this year.
I can't believe you can build a garage so cheap. In So Cal it would be $100k. and there is no land to build on.
