If they were smart theyd start another incognito channel to post episodes, then simply not copyright strike themselves.

1968 forest green Firebird is my dream car. Although 1 year newer I’m still Stoked to see this 69 back on the road!

"Ray Charles Parts Ordering".....classic quote.

I was 7 years old when my mom bought a 69 hurst package firebird that was special ordered. My mom went to the dealership and didn’t see anything she was looking for until leaving , when we were pulling out she seen it in the back by the mechanic’s shop and inquired about that one . It was white with dark green interior. The salesman said a guy had ordered it and had not come to pick it up . My mom said if she could not have that one she would not have any that the had . They called my mom a week later and said come get it . I do not know what the original price of that car was but she paid $6990 for it . That is the first time I went 160 MPH . A year later my mom got pulled over in Chattanooga Tennessee and got a ticket for 142 in a 65 MPH on the interstate. The officer was going to take her to jail but I was there and only eight years old and that is the only reason she did not go to jail

William Sanders yea right . That was a long time ago . She turned 83 last week. She still turns red when I bring it up . Lol

I remember when this first came out, good episode to re watch

As a teen I had a nearly new '67 Firebird. It was just the base model 3.8 liter OHC with the shifter on the column, no less, but it only cost me about 2500 dollars and I loved that car.

Now that is one rare "Bird" lol. I would love to find one of the OHV cam 6's but alas they are worth a fortune today!!

My friend's girlfriend had a 67 OHC 6 convertible four speed that her father bought for her when she was in high school in about 1978. It was probably $1500 if that. I don't know the circumstances why, but it ended up getting a 350 put in it.

Honestly if it's a base model ohc single one brl carb they are not worth a ton of money even in perfect shape, now if it's a Sprint version with the 4brl they are worth more, I actually own a ohc6 67 bird but needed more power so swapped it, it now has a 68 Pontiac 350 !!

I was just at the kickoff of the Dream Cruise, in the Village of Rochester Hills. A lot of gorgeous rides there today.

Living the dream,, a Pontiac 400!!

My first car, purchased new, 74 sd-455 trans am, red with no chicken. Turbo 400 and 308 gears. After warranty out, change to 3.72 ring and pinion. Add hooker headers and thrush mufflers, b&m holeshot convertor and trans pak. Recurved distributor. Would pass anything but a gas station. Back in the day, car craft said you lost 100 hp out of the dual exhaust to 1sideways muffler to 2 exhaust pipes. The thrush were loud and it definitely made much less back pressure. Would run 12.20's all day.

I missed the old days when Fry and Finnegan did Roadkill together (pre-Finnegan beard). It’s such a nostalgia 🥺

@@Windows_XP_2005 They took their series to their Motortrend website, charged a monthly premium and changed the roster of the show. I get charging a premium, but when everyone is comfortable with youtube, just leave it there. Find another way to make money on a good show.

@@rickyh527 They didnt "change the roster". Its still Freiburger and Finnegan, with OCCASIONAL appearances by Tony Angelo or Steve Dulcich.

I just noticed that Mrs. Finnegan was lending a hand during the assembly in Georgia! 😁👍

My dream car, I had one but it was an automatic same color

My friend and I worked on rapid and Woodward doing security we could hear everything going on but we got to see the cars come in and go but we didn't get to see no action I wish we could have met you there we were hoping cuz we love you guys you guys have an awesome show

3 days = 3 months roadkill time. So it’s definitely enough time

69 firebird is also my dream car. But I'll settle for the 350 3 speed.

😱 firebird as a race car love it 👍 i bought a 78 Trans Am somebody replace the Engine with high miles Engine and it had a low end knock all the main bearings spun just like these connecting rod bearings did

Umm, yeah. Pontiacs don't maintain oil pressure in long left-hand turns. Just too many issues to work out in a 2-day thrash. Haste makes waste. You guys got Roadkilled on this episode! Hope you build it up for next year though. '69 Firebird is one of my dream cars.

I wish I had mine back. Was a 350/4speed car. I did a LS/T56 swap in it back in ‘04. One day I’ll get another.
