i'm an "old guy" who used to street race mopars back in the late 60's, early 70's. i have 7 68-89 Barracudas but have owned Road Runners. it always amuses me when "young guys" try to talk about old muscle cars. within about a minute, guys like me KNOW that the guys have NO IDEA what the hell they are talking about. i particularly got a kick out of the guys "amazement" over the "angle" of the Road Runner's tail lights. LOL! yea, OK. here's an idea guys, when you want to do a video on ANY "muscle car" from 1964 to 1971, go to a bowling alley or a "Senior" center and ask some "old guy" to help you out with the video. i'm pretty sure any random guy older than 60 will know more about the muscle car you are filming than what you will be able to offer. LOL! LOL!

I bought one new in the fall of 1969, a hardtop like this one, but in Bronze-Fire Metallic with a full black vinyl top. Wish I still had it today! Only mine was an automatic, instead of manual trans. Unbelievable what they sell for now, mine was less than $4K out the door, with the same 383, and mag wheels. In 1975, I only got $850. for it, and it still looked new.

I had a 69 RR 383. I bought it in 75 or 76', mine had the bucket seats like that. No they were not all that comfortable. But we didn't b!tch about stuff like that back then because if we were looking for comfort there were more than enough plenty comfortable cars to be had because back then there was so much variety and they didn't look like dorky pods like we have today. I never out grew performance so my current car is a 17' SS Camaro 6 speed.

The horn does work, that car had just been brought in to the dealer for consignment and still need the once over. We are actually stuck in a multi year restoration ourselves. For us and it seems this guy, work comes before play so the time does get away from you. Thanks for watching!

40 grand overpriced. And who wants Richard Petty scribble all over your console. The guy was a known cheat about all his cars got caught numerous times. No respect for cheaters. Cars worth top end 30 grand. If it's a petty collection car let some other fool buy it. The vibe alone will cause you to wreck.

This isn't a '69 1/2 A12 roadrunner. That special limited edition was the only '69 roadrunner that you could get with a 440 (440+6) engine. 383 was the base engine. Hemi was optional. Then mid-year the A12 ( 440 6 barrel) with lift off fiberglass hood became available.

Wow , over $75,000 for a 383 ? These guys sure don’t know anything about this car , so why make a video of it if you don’t have any information? If you were just showing off it’s looks, (which are nice) you should have just played music with the video & not had any people in it. Also low mileage , yes I would say so at 4400 or so , as most of the old cars just went into the tens of thousands ( what knuckleheads 44,000). I had the same car with a bench seat which looks better than the buckets , that console just makes it look cheap.
