What a beautiful truck. I had to get rid of mine two years ago because it rusted all the hell within 3 years in Wisconsin. I had 244,000 miles on it and it's still ran like a sewing machine, it was definitely the best vehicle I've ever owned. I think I have at least eighty pictures of it

Fully understand that my dad's work truck was from western Illinois over by the lakes it's was rough, rough,rough the lower bedsides made more noise driving down the gravel rural roads Than the fe 360 with 3 Bent pushrods and blown doughnut gaskets and Mopar blue glass pack mufflers from a 76 dodge van they came just under the middle of the bed and turn slightly down.

Nice, informative video! I'm 15 and I just bought almost the same truck, also a camper special with the 390 and 4 on the floor. Same year and model as well

Cool my dad when I was growing up had a 1970 f250 Wimbledon white on top of carmine red custom trim truck auto lite 2bbl originally a column shift 3spd manual transmission and dana 60 4.56 gears no dome,radio,cargo light,power brakes, but had power steering and the optional heavy duty pump mount power steering cooler, no cigar lighter or radio either,, and I am currently owner of a 2000 dodge ram laramie slt quad cab long bed 5.2 litre 318 magnum V8 46 RE AT manual shift transfer case lever on the floor gloss black with most of a white pinstripe has rust around the edges except the front fenders are pretty much junk,, and I am planning on trading my northern Ohio truck on 69 Ford f250 ranger trim truck its actually more of a project than my dodge truck though

Beautiful truck, I'm surprised that it didn't come with the front anti sway bar being a camper pack.

Finally a Camper Special with a 4 speed I'd buy it just for the 4 speed.

I got one of these a couple months ago and one of the previous owners put a different bumper on it. I ended up hitting a light pole trying to back out (I don't have power steering) but there's no new damage so...

Beautiful truck. I have one almost identical to it that my great grandpa bought new in 69. Where did you find the new/original wheels for it?

I have a question for you, I have a 1968 F250 automatic which I imported from America to Australia, although it has power steering...it really feels hard when steering especially if stationary, now I also own other vehicles from the early 70s and the steering wheel is just so easy to turn...is it normal for these kind of trucks or should I get it checked out?
@blueovalranch

Yeah you better get that checked out, you should be able to move the wheel pretty easy even when sitting.

Nice truck and excellent video! I like the tour you gave us! I’m curious how much it is worth? I have one almost exactly like it. Same color and all with only 45k miles. Getting it ready for sale too like you.
