Dad had a 1967 metalic green ford V-8 stick shift truck. He took out the back window and made a custom camper towing a trailor and we went across the country for summer vacation in it and mom passed us kids in the camper ice tea or lemonade and sandwiches during the long trips.

Well done @Char_Jens. The Ford '67 - '72 pickups are my favourites.

I just liked and subscribed to your channel. I have a 1970 F100 Short bed with a 390 big block under the hood. My first truck payed 500 dollars for it back in the late 90s and it has been sitting since 1999 and I really want to get it back on the road.

Twin I Beam fronts were really long swing axles, camber changes when hitting bumps which could induce "bump steer".

Hi Char, nice video! Nice Truck! The Select Air air conditioning could also be factory installed, if the customer ordered that way. Please reply. Dave...

Thanks for the comment Dave, I thought that may be possible... I just say what the brochures tell me. I think in 68 the brochure says factory order, or dealer install.

@@Char_Jens You are correct. The brochures are not necessarily 100% accurate. They are printed way before the first vehicle rolls off the assembly line. Dave...

@@Char_Jens On the back of any dealer sales brochure, it states; all specifications and photos are subject to change with out notice, as you have seen for you self. Keep in mind, it is a production produced vehicle. Dave...

I love the 67-72 Ford trucks, but I think the name bump side is stupid,if you want to see a bump side look at a 60-6 Chevy/GMC truck.they should call those ford's a spear side.I will say they were a far better truck than the 67-72 GM trucks although the GM trucks had better ac and power steering and in 71-2 better brakes.I also agree that the 67-72 is a very solid and damn good looking truck in my opinion, second only to the 60-6 GMC/Chevys trucks.

The 4X4s were known as killers, as they were prone to roll over when used in the CDF.
