Now that you mention, has anybody ever built a Karmann-Ghia with the engine in this configuration but then the front wheels moved at the back and cockpit turned around so that the original rear engine configuration was restored? It would look like the car goes on reverse. The back becomes the new front.

And girl... lol. I remember dad talking about Karmann Ghia's and seeing them as a kid. First time I've ever seen the name written so at first I didn't really read the name and had no idea until he said it. Pretty damn cool!

Just amazing. Reminds me of the insane Viper V10 that they shoehorned into a motorcycle frame many years ago, the Tomahawk. Supposedly capable of "over 400mph", it technically is not a motorcycle because there are 4 wheels, but they are right next to each other in the front and back. kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y4yZys2GgdPLqaQ.html

That is beautiful! I love all Karmann Ghias, but this is definitely one of my top favorites! Flawless body work. My Dad used to have a Karmann Ghia with a Porsche engine in it. It was QUICK!

As a civil engineer myself, I love to see things that are beautifully designed and manufactured, the design and workmanship put into this is as good as I have ever seen for anything, absolutely amazing work with the added madness of having a V10 in the Ghia. I absolutely love this car 😂😍

I don't even have words...I have tears in my eyes and mouth is watering ...OMFG I would DIE to have the 69 ghia look even HALF that good not to mention a v-10 but hey I'd settle for 2500 duel LOL..FucKINg phenomenal! WOW....

Man I liked this video so much had to see this Ghia again and add to it: These guys that built this car from scratch to finish gotta be recognized! The car is a master piece work of art and they should be entered into the Ghia hall of fame!! Thanks again Scottie Best Video.

Hi I’m British this car is brilliant my first car was Karmann Ghia after 2 years of owning it I put a Porsche Boxster engine into it went like a dream and the engine fitted like a fine pair of leather gloves from Harrods.

Im glad I seen this car on here bc I just went to slamology yesterday in Indy and this car was there so I got to actually see this car in person and since I watched your video I knew every detail to look for and all the stuff normal people wouldnt know about.

PUMA is up to make te remake of their car, the PUMA LUMIMARI, with an motorization that has 2.5 liters, and will not use the bad VW 1.6 air cooled of BEETLE, right now they are testing an version of race of it, to transfer the race upgrades to the street car.

Great vid man. Thanks for taking the time to record this for us. As a ghia guy I think they did justice to the car. They started with a pretty cool car design and made it even better and more unique. That car has got to RIP with all the HP.

It would have been interesting to see how the car would have looked with the original flat four engine in this, but I must admit, that V10 up front does look amazing! The car itself looks incredible! Great work guys!

Even Wilhelm Karmann and Luigi Segre would be happy to see this beauty!

My Mother has always wanted one, we had to talk her down in 1975 to a Firebird, she drives a Mini Rag Top now, Every time she spies another one on the road she pipes up "Mini!" as we roll our eyes in contempt.

I seen this car in person in Detroit unreal design ,loved it keep up the good work guys and keep coming to Detroit.

Almost a decade later, this car looks like it was just did buy a shop. Everything just works on it, the body shaping, engine, tilt hood, and those wheels make it so cool. Nothing wrong with that interior, simple layout is just the right amount of style and function. I could go on and on about this beauty.

That my friend is the sickest custom jacked,picture perfect thing of beauty I've seen in a long time.What you guys have done to that little ole Ghia absolutely blows my mind.I had a 57 Ghia many years ago,I loved that car even though it was kept exactly original from the day it was made until I bought it and I drove it for two years,didn't change a thing,not even the original blaupunkt radiol(which didn't work any more).It had the 1200cc motor, no syncromesh for 1st gear but I could fill it up with gas and drive for two weeks before I needed to re fuel.I miss that car so much but never would have dreamed I would see something as nuts as what you have created.My hat is off to you guys,well done!
