This immediately brought me back to my youth. Had a friend who owned one of these. His had a strong hi revving 327, big cam, tunnel ram with 2 vacuum advance Holly 600 CFM carbs, headers, you'll laugh at this one, cherry bomb mufflers. A Muncie M20 turning a 4:11 12 bolt posi. This is even the same color. But his had the Strato bucket seat interior. Very quick car he had. Thanks for bringing back that memory Steve.

LeMans Blue Chevrolets are my favorite. I had a 68 Chevelle in that color back in the 80s. Nice walk around Steve, as always

I've owned a lot of muscle cars but just one Chevelle, and it was a '66. Not an SS, it was a 2 door hardtop with a 283 and a 3 on the tree. It was darker blue with a black bench seat interior. I converted it to a 4 speed with a floor shifter of course. I had an M21 that was in storage for another project so in it went. Excellent car and my favorite year.

Very clean, my 66 Chevelle eventually rusted away after 14 years on the road, damn engine was still running!

Had a 67. Sold it in 2015. Had to move for mom's health care. I don't really regret selling it but I do really miss it. 65 thru 67 were bad @ss.

@@highoctaneclassics3969 , Has Malibu gauges there high octane that don't know classic cars and that even looks like a 67 dash with the air conditioning openings , because this is Super rare for an SS in 66 . But common on the 67 Malibu and the 66 and 67 dash are interchangeable, I know because I put a 67 Super Sport dash in my 66 Malibu when I added a 4 speed trans , I had the dash out because it was an Automatic car , I had to add the 67 Super Sport clutch pedal /brake pedal
