That was my mom’s last car. She loved that Buick. Wouldn’t get rid of it, she drove that car for 20 years. Pops bought 3 new Cadillac’s wouldn’t then drive more than 1 once a week. I had to take the keys and she was pissed. I couldn’t get rid of it until she passed.

It was a great car, after three years though I sold her and bought a TR4. That lasted just over a year and now I’m driving a ‘60 Cadillac. I do miss stirring those cogs manually in the Wildcat though.

Most 4-speeds came with the gated shifter. I noticed this had a Hurst Shifter and Hurst badging on the rear. Is this a stock option, or a conversion maybe?

Nothing quite like stirring the cogs on a big V8.

Great car and it sounds very good. Do you know what mufflers are there underneath?

Bernd Grimberger Hi, she has a dual system with 2.25 inch pipe and flow master mufflers. She does sound delightful winding up through the gears.
