Every so often, I search for this video just to hear that exhaust. Nailheads are so cool! Looks great too.

Great under-respected engine. We had a neighbor with a rebuilt 425 that I think dynoed at 425 hp and 525 torque. Under 5,000 rpm. Put it in a 64-65 skylark that would burn the tires driving around town at 35-55 mph when he stepped on it and it downshifted. Super fast car.

the nailheads are insane. I had a 64 Riv with a dual 4 nailhead that was all rusted out and a dude bought it for the motor to stick in a fat bottom boat.

I'm a nailhead man. And this engine sound good. You're pushing your luck with the Chevy. valves. And 40 over--- you could only get away with this in a boat. It sounds really good. What is your compression ratio.
