    A CORRECTION: The `64 Buicks didn't have a 455 V8; that didn't come along until 1969. These had a 401 V8, and "445" ft.lbs. of torque. Yes, four-speed was an option on the wildcat coupe/cvts.

Correction of your "correction": THİS Wildcat is fitted with a 455 cu in V8.

Where can you even find a place toark it over there?

It’s not easy, parking spaces seem to be getting smaller in many places. Central London is a nightmare. It’s even tougher now I’m driving a Cadillac!

@@oldcarsnstuff Like driving around in a spaceship compared to the cars there. Think I grew up in the golden area of U.S. metal. Cars were probably not that reliable back then, but what stood out were the sizes and designs and barely any flimsy plastic. They were portable living rooms whilst you drove from your sofa. This era I am referring to would be mid 50's to early, early 70's. Not talking Dusenbergs, Cords, Auburns and the like because few could afford them , more the mass produced cars from the 1950's to early 70's. Even here a late 50's Caddy or that Wildcat you drive you might see one here driving around once in a blue moon, let alone as scarce as they might be seen in Europe or England.

@@thyslop1737 yeah I know what you mean, in the late eighties you’d see them around more often even over here. These days few drive them more than the odd weekend. Personally I can’t see the point of owning an automotive masterpiece and not use it. People try to keep mileages down only to die and their kids/grand kids sell the cars off first chance they get as they rarely have the interest or connection. I’ve owned cars from 1942 into the early ‘70s but mid-50s to the early 60s is probably the best era.

@@oldcarsnstuff Agreed. They should get and drive them more. I think it is a combination of factors as to the infrequent sightings, the high gas prices, fear of theft, getting in an accident and lack of respect to name a few. It has become a society of "think only of yourself" here in the U S of A.. Park it somewhere and they don't care if they bang your door when they get out of their car while you are inside shopping. Accidents? Half the idiots are on their cellphones whilst driving. After havong had two accidents in brand new cars, the accidents not my fault, now I just buy used, because you cannot fight it. Can you imagine your baby, your dream ride, the one you have spent hours restoring and big coin purchasing having a big dent in it because some moron could care less about hitting your car in the parking lot, then driving off?
