1960 CADILLAC POV DRIVING

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I appreciate it's a little long but indulge me if you will. POV video; driving my 1960 Cadillac on a dull cold spring day in the UK. The roads get narrower and narrower towards the end.

Well done. Moving to Ireland next year and bringing my pristine 1996 Buick Roadmaster Station Wagon with me. It WILL be an experience.

Absolutely made my day seeing this driving around in 21st century traffic. Credit to you for keeping such an incredible machine and driving it where people can appreciate it!

I had always wanted a 1959 model Cadillac until I saw a 1960, such a gorgeous shape I eventually bought a flat top version.

The 59 most people like but I personally think the 1960, especially the flat top is a much better looking car.

I briefly owned a 1960 Cadillac 4 door flattop in 1984. It didn't look bad but it did not run well. But if it could talk, it would probably thank me for having some things fixed up on it, and waiting awhile to sell it to a collector intent on restoring it, rather than junk it when the transmission started grinding in reverse.@@50YearOldTeenager

Interior looks to be in fantastic shape. When I was in England in early 1999, I was impressed to see an early 70s Lincoln Town Car parked in someone’s driveway, haha

Fuel prices have always hurt but at the moment it is particularly painful. But at least I don't have the worry of expensive servicing costs to worry about and can do most of the work myself. Though of course I don't know how long we can sustain the steady rise in fuel prices. Almost £2.50/ litre in some London fuel stations apparently.

Not at all, the only inconvenience is the Drive Thru or parking barriers. But you just throw her into park and scoot across if you don’t have a passenger.

It's actually not that bad till you try parking in a big city like London or Paris. Parking is so tight that you need to plan ahead otherwise no bigger than a long wheelbase Mercedes Sprinter. But there's nothing quite like catching your reflection in store windows... 😊
