Yeah, he's certainly come a long way. From simpler tools to metal lathe, CDC cutter, nice powder paint and a press. But with 3 million + viewers, 👌 👏

Each part of the process is quite unique but for me, the stripping / blasting is the best. Watching the rust, paint and decals disappear and seeing all the details come to life in the metal form is amazing.

The CAT appreciated the novelty!)))

No annoying music, no talking, plenty of info, beautiful shots, masterful work

I just love how the siren sound was made. Such a simple and clever design.

Why is watching videos of things being sandblasted so satisfying?

Amazing how tabs were used for so much of the construction of this type of toy...even more amazing is that they don't break off in the vids I've watched. Pretty great stuff

I love that you use as many original used parts as possible and create your own when needed.

I have no idea why.... but I find something very soothing about watching paint and rust fly off in the sandblaster! I have got to get me one of these!

It was nice to see the kitten doing its job and giving it the final inspection - it definitely passed as it was given the tail flick of approval. Great video, very proffesionaly edited, with a lovely, sympathetic restoration job.

22:10 this requires a steady hand, precision, accuracy, neatness, technique, YEARS OF EXPERIENCE & most of all PATIENCE!! In the end the results are amazing! 😳➡️🫣➡️😬➡️😲⏸👍🏽😎

Love your show! This was such a fun restoration...right down to the ladder, the bell and putting together the white wall tires!

This was one extremely labor intensive restoration! It was so far gone, and you still brought it back!

Great transformation! Watching this reminded me of an old VW Bug I bought about fifteen years ago, more rust than metal. I spent weeks cutting, shaping, welding and grinding to prep it for paint. Lots of work but I was determined to bring it back!

The before / after is amazing, I love the two-tone paint and you do things well since you replace the broken parts with a majority of second-hand parts and when you can't find them you rebuild them altogether

Great restoration! To avoid burning holes into the thin metal, I think autogenous welding instead of inert gas welding would be advisable.

The before and after is astonishing! One of the best transformations I've seen so far. I've read somewhere that you can use heat resistant tape for multicolor powder coating, that would make your life easier

IIRC, it's called Kapton tape, and seems to be used in powder coating quite frequently.

@@secretgacha9914 I think everyone cringes at that part in the video.. I certainly did. Needless to say, his restorations are absolutely remarkable..

A couple of tips for you. If you weld to the body like you did this one, if you lay a piece of copper or aluminum under that area, the copper or aluminum will draw the heat away, and also won't let the weld burn through. A piece of flattened copper pipe could do that, and could be bent to the curvature of the part you are welding and give you a nicer finish. The other thing is, if you need to make window "glass", this could be done with 1/16th" polycarbonate. It can be cut with a saw, bent with some heat, and won't shatter like acrylic Plexiglas.

Oh kitty kitty. Such wonderful work...... and equipment. So nice.

Great work and job to restauration this old rescue Van , very accurated and rebuild damages part and piece, replacement for old metal toys, model and best handwork to ricreate missing part, and fine painting stripping and job painting Amazing ,WITH a lot of patience and carefully the toys rusted come back again New!

Literally except it more for the fact I was in a mid 90s minivan with wood paneling on the side but still it broke down

When tracing small parts onto the metal, you can apply a glue stick to the back of the paper to hold it in place while you trace it.
