Body off frame restored. Has power steering and brakes. Modern a/c neatly installed. This is the one you want. Gorgeous colors, great features and from an owner that knows cars and has this one dialed in. Only 7,300 miles since finished.
EXTERIOR: The 56 Victoria is such a good looking car, this one has gorgeous factory colors. California car built in San Jose. We have photo album showing the body off the frame restoration in 1993. It looks like it was just done in the last 12 months. It was stripped to a bare shell. Each side of the car is straight, there's no bubbles or cracking. Has a glossy finish. Jambs are restored, weatherstrips were replaced. All the trim is restored or replaced. The little flippers over the doors have been rebuilt. It is decked out with rocker moldings, fender skirts with stone shields, fingernail guards on the handles, dual mirrors and rear antenna. Red Thunderbird emblems on each fender let you know about the special motor under the hood. It also has optional reverse lights and the exhaust right through the bumper. The rims were painted body the color, hubcaps are mint and it even has the red crown nozzle caps. Also has radial white wall tires.
INTERIOR: The interior was completely gutted. They used Dyna mat sound deadener. Correct reproduction upholstery and door panels from ABC interior. The carpet and headliner were replaced. Turquoise seat belts front and back were installed. The dash area is completely restored- repainted, the knobs, bezels, gauges excellent. A panel below the dash was very neatly made and painted the match for the air conditioning vents and controls, looks like the factory did it. New wiring front to back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Completely restored. Engine is a 292 4-barrel Thunderbird Special, completely rebuilt, balanced and hardened valve seats. The valley area was milled for better oil efficiency. New parts in the motor and heads. All the components were restored. The wiring harness is new front to back. Has power steering and upgraded power brakes. The air conditioning system is installed so cleverly you dont even know it's there, I was impressed. Also upgraded from a generator to an alternator and an electric choke. Everything is painted neatly, has washer bag, Thunderbird decals.

A real beauty! Did I hear "California car?" If so, that's a REAL plus. CA, to me, equals NO RUST...EVER, even the chassis. Hardtops in Fords and Chevys in those days were special and not that common as well. I always preferred hardtops over post cars. Someone saw this old car and the potential in it, put in the necessary work and money, and the end product is a show car. Someone's gonna' walk away a few pennies lighter but with a dynamite looking car. I wouldn't be surprised if it caused a traffic accident, just by it's show stopping LOOKS. Truly a beautiful car. And to think, in '56, this was an affordable car for the average guy.

These car dealers are so afraid to tell us the price. I don't buy unless I know before wasting your time, my time is to valuable to sit and talk on a phone, POST THE PRICES OF YOUR CARS WHEN YOU MAKE A VIDEO.

@@harleydude-xo8pu Thank you! And we certainly understand it can be more convenient to include the price in the video or description but there are logistics/workflow problems to doing that on KZread. What if the price lowers? Or raises? What about when its sold? Then people will start asking why prices may not match with our website, or shows sold on our website. We used to & we got those complaints. Our dealer system doesn't automatically communicate changes like that to KZread unlike eBay, Hemmings, Auto Trader ect...that are built for car sales. So that'd mean a salesman notifying myself for each change to a car, to go and manually update it for a single site. The easiest & most up to date place is our website. We control it directly & it updates immediately, that is why we try to drive traffic there. And to see the rest of the inventory obviously. These videos are also intended to be an additional resource & not exclusively used in the sale.
