Oblo', trascinatori.... Poi venne il boom. Ma questa macchina, considerando che e' del 52, come design era avanti.

Was there a matching washer to this ? Our washers and dryers in the US in the early 50s were rounded like this too. That drum opening makes it look very modern.

@@nicholassciville1646 Parnell made a wringer washer in the same colours and it had the same build quality I have one in the shed. Its obviously made around the same time although the heater on the washer is I believe touching 3kw as it has a thick cable and is meant to run on 15 amp circuits of which we do not have any more. The machine when running with the heater left on high will make a 13 amp plug quite warm.

@@ozzie908 Your washing machine sounds great, I'll have to Google to see if any old photos or advertising literature is around so I'd known what they looked like.

Those pulleys in the back remind me of the old Maytag Halo Of Heat dryers along with the old RCA Whirlpool and Kenmore dryers made from 1948 to 1960. I actually have a 1973 Maytag Halo Of Heat gas dryer I restored back in 2019 and has been working fairly well since I restored it but currently not in service as my 1963 RCA Whirlpool Imperial Mark XII set in turquoise is in service at the moment.

@@Woodie53 I have a video on my 1973 Maytag DG306 when I first powered it up, but unfortunately didn’t get any other videos of it with the back panel removed. There’s this video by red carpet drew with the back panel off on his Maytag DE906 HOH dryer. kzread.info/dash/bejne/kY2Axatykaqdfrw.html

@@Woodie53 I even have a video of a 1956 Whirlpool Imperial gas dryer with the pulleys in operation and that dryer belongs to my friend Gsohoover in North Carolina. The rear panel on that dryer was lost at some point in time but has plexiglass which I think is cool since it allows you to see what’s going on in the back without removing the rear panel.
