Just snagged what I guess is a newer version of this kit from my local hobby shop... Different box art but same kit. I built the model a roadster kit few years ago an there both must haves for sure.keep doin these kits nice& keep em coming. thnks

Very nicely done Doug! That is one heck of a hot rod! That engine and interior detail are incredible! Those Krylon colors you mentioned are ones that I have used on recent builds! I shall definitely snag one of these for the stash to be built someday!

This kit came out in 2015, caused quite a stir too since a kit like this hadn't really been offered before, or at least with all the nice options. Yours came out great, I really like that orange paint scheme, that's a color I've struggled with a couple of times, but it seems like you had good results. You could call this hot rod your Pumkin Coach!

Max, It's true, the range of yellow colors can be difficult to use. I found it best to use a white primer and multiple, light, color coats! If you like what you see please subscribe, if you haven't already, to help us inspire even more modelers! -Doug
