There's something so sweet about the way you restore the pieces. You don't just put them back to use, you pay tribute to them, their history and their importance for the person who first owned them. Great job!

Thinking the same thing, was so relaxing.

I think this is a very nice finish for the metal. I think oiled steel is quite underrated, and people rely on paint and filler too much. I find the rustic look of cast iron to be visually pleasing. The dimples and casting lines give these antiques a lot of character.

The hippo is a little bit disturbing, but the chickens are super cute.

My great grandmother had a similar oven like this back in the 1950s. It was mostly a decoration piece in their household. Cast iron with enameled finish. I think she only cooked with it a couple of times. It's now in possession with my uncle. Like I said, it's mostly for decoration. Fabulous job with this one. I like the seasoned bare cast iron finish. Natural.

Throw away: Going through a really tough time in life right now and have struggled with insomnia since 14. Watching restoration videos I've discovered helps and cures my sleep issues for the most part. I have always enjoyed your content, the small and silly jokes you make through them, and the "ASMR". It's been a really tough day, to the point I'm really stressed out and can't sleep, but when I saw your video on my feed, I hoped it would help like always. I think this could be a salesmans sample. The stove would have been brought to the home or to a dry goods store to show the features of the stove before it was purchased. As usual, you never disappoint with your talent. Beautiful work. Keep doing you❤

The finish looks awesome. I like the powder coatings, but nothing beats methods that just highlight the material itself. Same goes for wood

This is a work of art, my guy. I was watching this just thinking how I'd love to have one of these. I was happy to see some of it done outside, too, even in the rain. Sometimes you just need to be somewhere out of the standard workspace, and I'd rather see someone enjoying the rain than in their living area watching TV or something ❤

The seasoned surface of the wrought iron makes a lot of sense, and it looks sharp, too. The itsy bitsy little frying pan is just adorable! The pizza looks YUMMY.

I wasn't too sure about the finish until you put it back together. I love it 😀 great job as always

It’s the first ever Easy Bake Oven. You do an amazing job at restoring it.

Nice job! Here's what I was told by an old timer to clean heavy rust from an old cast iron skillet. Place the skillet in the fire box of a wood burning stove. Let it get very hot for an hour or more. So I tried it on a very rusty skillet that I bought at a junk sale. It worked perfectly. No more rust! I then seasoned it in the oven with it coated in flax seed oil. Like new again!

Yet another very well done restoration - congratulations!

Very well restored. In South Africa we do not have lemon coke. That caster oil elephant is very amusing. I must admit having a bot of a giggle when you showed us that. A real conversation piece.

Interesting fact, many of these little stoves were actually display models for traveling salesmen .

Of all the restoration channels I watch.....so far this is my absolute favorite restoration!!! I WANT THAT STOVE!!! I keep coming back to watch over and over again because it is just such quality work!!!! I myself would have liked to see some gold leafing on the legs and door fronts.....but that is just me...... LOVE YOUR WORK!!!!!

When I get a new device I always watch restoration videos for some reason and you were the most common KZreadr

this little critter got me in to blacksmithing cause i would get recommended blacksmithing videos so thank you TysyTube for letting me find my dream!

This little stove is so cute and what a treasure to restore! If it could talk, it would probably have lots of stories to tell. : ) Many cast iron restorers use electrolysis tanks! They work well and faster. But this was interesting to see.

I would have seasoned the stove (with oak) for at least two hours before cooking that pizza. Great restoration! Love the finish.
