18th June 2022 - Kent Storms (READ DESCRIPTION)
Ойын-сауық
** UNFORTUNATELY I HAD NOT REALISED WHEN FILMING THAT MY CAMERA WAS SLIGHTLY OUT OF FOCUS AND SO THIS IS NOT MY BEST QUALITY PIECE OF FOOTAGE **
A cold front with a marked temperature gradient was moving down from the north at the same time as a warm, humid unstable airmass was moving north out of France. Temperatures on the 17th June had risen over 30c for a large part of Central and Southeast England. Cooler air had spread south across all but the far southeast and it was here that thunderstorms were forecast.

Great video 👍
Kent has got to be one of the best places to live in the UK for storms, i know someone who lives in Deal on the coast & he can see storms across the channel at night.

Statistically it is the part of the UK which sees the most storms, so yes I agree.
Sorry about your camera that won’t focus properly. But good video.
I was wondering if you would make it time. those storms developed quite quickly. Im just outside Gravesend in Kent. I did a video as well, just at home. Gutted as I misssed probably one of the best fork lightning strikes ever. Thought I was filming but I wasnt. I noticed you did pick up one good fork lightning strike (thats the one I probably missed). Your vodeo was still very good despite the blur (Ive seen worse) . Keep up the good work and lets hope we get something tomorrow night (Thursday).
I'm in Broadstairs in kent it was a really good storm great video shame the camera quality wasn't the greatest
