The small metal pizza peel is for turning the pizza in the oven to get an even cook, but could also be used for boules of bread, if you want to bake loaves in the pizza oven

By far the most gracious people on the internet. It is such a blessing seeing you all open gifts. You are all so appreciative and make each gift giver feel so special. It is no wonder that the gifts come pouring in. You deserve each and every one. I absolutely love the LaLanders.

Stephanie a little DIY trick on frames. Go to a flea market or charity stores. Look at all the different frames ot necessarily what print is inside. Go to a hardware store buy spray paint in a can what ever color you like gold or silver etc. Go back home break down the frame, card board, paper, pictures etc. Lay down some news paper place frame on top start spraying wait for your frame to dry, repeat coats if necessary. Then when dry resemble with your favorite picture,painting, matting around picture etc. There you go cheap way to buy frames and make them look more expensive. I spray paint baskets as well with paint and use them for gifts.

Linda's bags were pretty and handy. The patterns Melanie sent would be useful as well. Phillip's new outfit is stunning.

When i was working i used Replacements quite a bit, for Tea & Coffee service and salt & peper , gravy boat, platter, vegetable dish that matched a Dinner Set left to me by my Mum, also for glass ware, Spode ware and Villery & Boch as well as Silver Ware, even found a sugar bowl & creamer for my girlfriend to match a set she was given which was the last one they had, great place to shop and their packaging is great.🍸☕🎀💘

The plates you received are limited edition collectors plates. Keep the cases they come in and the documentation on each plate. I collect plates and love displaying them on my walls. You might want to hang them instead of eating off of them. I love them.

They are m made for display & not eating off of, so keep that in mind. I have 3 sets of Christmas plates that are collector's plates.

As a former pizza maker we use the wooden peel to make pizza on. put corn meal generously on wooden peel first. This helps pizza to slide into the oven with a flick of the wrist. The wooden peel helps to loosen and move pizza around or remove it.

Ukraine used to be part of the ussr and there are many Russian people still living there also victims of war, we must be careful not to take sides, so much more goes on than is reported by the media. Namaste.

My mother-in-law used to make a rhubarb cordial that was so delicious, you will have to try to make some and use your new bottles.

Those plates are exquisite! As much as I love using good china, there are limits when it comes to eating off those glorious limited edition plates.🥱😅 Philip you looked amazing in those costumes. I love the Spode matching kitchen items as I too have the same oven gloves and also a passion for blue and white china. I’ve noticed the LaLanders seem especially happy and motivated recently. There is a sense of deep contentment and joy. Love of home. Love of beauty. Love of others. Perhaps it is, in part, an anticipation of the B&B/rental season and the warmer weather. Whatever the cause, it is such a pleasure to watch. ❤️

Make ginger beer with your sealable bottles!!

In the US the wooden and metal implements for putting pizza pies in and out of the oven are called peels. Also a suggestion before using them buy a bottle of food grade mineral oil to protect the wood. Don't use any organic oil as it will go rancid. I use mineral oil on all my wooden utensils... rolling pins, wooden spoons, lemon juicer and also my cutting boards.

@@LaReynedEpee If you have 100% pure tung oil then yes. But then again it comes from a nut and could possibly be an issue with people with nut allergies. I do use pure tung oil on my front door and it takes days to dry but stick to mineral oil for the kitchen items. It never dries, get sticky or go rancid.

@@chuckt7636 Nut allergies are funny things. I'm vegetarian and can eat all kinds - apart from hazelnuts. Not heard of a tung allergy 🤷‍♀️ (Apparently it's not classed as a nut)
