Opening lots of gifts from all over the world for Philip’s birthday!! 🥳
In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. KZread earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. Here are the charities that we've donated to so far:

I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

The 3 big "salt and pepper" with the round top (the one that was missing at first) are actually for powdered sugar (sucrier saupoudreur - sugar sprinkler) ;-) And the two little bowls are for salt (there should be a very little spoon with each), of course you can use them for other things but not pickles since silver doesn't like vinegar :)
Beryl makes the most wonderful sweaters/jumpers. This one for Phillip, might be my favorite. Love the colors and pattern.

So wonderful to see Phillip's room - I don't think we've ever seen it? I LOVE it! And it is just how I would envision his 'gentleman's' room. Also, the silver lidded bowl at the end would be great for ice on a drinks tray (and the legs would keep the moisture off the tray). Best wishes for a wonderful year, Phillip!

Go to the quarantine diaries by Stephanie…she reads a lovely old book in 3 or 4 parts…..she could make a career of reading….I also loved it when she taught us about toile…❤

That jumper is beautiful and all your autumn color favorites , really like the scarf too. OMG! That dressing gown robe is a beautiful color and looks fab on you. Your last package was full of wonderful silver pieces, love the mustard container, English mustard would be fab…the spoon would be good for fruit salad, jellies salads, also homemade cranberries while or sauced .
