I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖
If you would like to see more of our life at the chateau, please go to our main 'Chateau Diaries' channel:

What a lovely sentiment! 💕
A swarm of ladybugs/ladybirds are called a loveliness.
That bracelet is made up of antique slides. They were given on a special occasion and added to the bracelet one by one and each usually had a significance. Each slide is precious in and of itself. The slides are added by a jeweler until it is filled to the size of the owner's wrist. The one you were given is beautiful.

Beautiful people. Beautiful gifts ,Loving friends. Love to all ❤.
I used to play with paper dolls as a kid, i also used to design the clothes for my dolls. To try and keep my dolls from ripping i would glue them on to card board and cut around the outline, so much fun

Me too! I also got a handmade felt doll from my mama for Christmas one year. She had many felt clothes and had a felt board that was shaped like a house with felt furniture! Such a sweet gift. We okayed with it until it all fell apart. Such a lovely memory!
The lady statuette which you thought might go in the garden shed, looks like it could be Royal Dux, which is quite valuable and probably better to not be in a garden shed.
I always find the thoughtfulness of each gift so inspiring and they elicit joy, not only for those receiving, but for those giving and those of us who enjoy watching. It's always a reminder that there are indeed good people amongst those who try not to spread joy. The funds cadeaux shares keeps the joy flowing - to me that is awesome and supersedes all. I wonder if Pavlina knows how to create those lovely Ukrainian Easter Eggs. I would love to see her create one if so. I once tried to make one and it certainly is a difficult art to create. Thank you for sharing Stephanie!
People are so generous, thoughtful and kind to send all these lovely gifts from all over the world.

with the chapel ceiling being damaged I hope all the lovely things you put in it are safely sheltered inside until they can be returned to their places in the chapel
Stephanie, could you interview Pavlina, Marie, and, yes, and Percy. We love them and want to know them better. We miss your interviews!
Hello Cadeaux at the Chateau friends!!! So happy that Stephanie liked the one of a kind Muxu Creations clutch purse from a vintage shirt that we designed and made here, in our studio in San Diego. And so lovely that you enjoyed the details like the squirrel, received a big hug and thanks for sharing!!

When i was a kid me and mg cousins were taught by my aunt to paint the eggs for Easter. Ive lived overseas now but my sisters still do the same tradition with the little ones..
Nyree I am originally from Bendigo too and I have the same dog statue you have at the top of your dresser 😍
Wonderful Gifts To Night. People are So Kind. Xx 😘😊
Mind blown too, I have never heard that connection to the ladybird.
Laughing like a drain. most would say too much tipple or rather slightly mad having stuffed animals talk to you but at the end of the day, I think it is bloody marvellous!! Just love the energy you all excude!!!
Pavlina, Ukrainian Easter eggs are the most beautiful decorated eggs I've ever seen.

The eggs are beautiful!
I commented on the generous gifts people send before, but I also love the thoughtful notes. I feel it is so moving to think so many of us are inspired by all the Lalanders and their loving energy in the same way ❤️
We paint our eggs and dye them at Easter in Greece. Those are beautiful
Pavlina, that scarf is so beautiful on you. You bring such joy to Lalande.
The bracelet looked beautiful on Isabelle.
In NYC it’s a ladybug 🐞 no bird lol! Love the ornaments and candles.
the little man and sled should decorate Gerry's apartment at Christmas time
Another special Cadeaux! And I just love that wee winter scotman and how Mummy brought it to life. 🥰 Pavlina, you are so beautiful, definitely model material. 😊 Love ,Jacqueline from New Zealand 💕
Your So Loved The World Over Stephanie and LaLand , The Gifts Are Superb, Just Remember your Loved the World Over, Even In Cork Ireland 🇮🇪👌👍👍❤️🥂🥂❤️
Ahhh, beautiful gifts again this caddeau. You are so fortunate to have so many fans. So happy you are able to help so many charities.
I love the book and the bird paperclip makes a great bookmark
People send such interesting gifts. I really enjoy watching every week just to see the variety. When you think back on all of the Cadeaux, there have been very few repeated gifts. What a great channel you have created to help so many.
Loved the gifts opening tonight was asume
The gifts were lovely today the braclet was exquisite the decorated eggs were lovely
We look after the skin on our faces and throats but we forget our hands more often and our upper chests can tell the tale as well😱. We need to keep everything well moisturized. Beautiful gifts as usual🤗🤨🙋🏼♀️
Pavlina means Peacock! That's amazing
The yellow towel is in fact a scarf. It is used like a blanket over your shoulders & falls quite far down your back. Here in South Africa we use them round our fire pits sipping a drink or cocktail!
I loved every gift and every minute of this Vlog. So happy you are getting rest in Egypt!!
Ladybug here in Canada....sorry Steph! Who is right, who cares, we're all right! What a lovely video, once again! You make us feel that we're right there with you!
YOUR VIDOOS ARE PURE JOY,
Simon Griffiths is a renowned garden photographer, too.
The flower on the wraping paper Natalie asked about, i think it's Ipomoea, Morning glory in english
The little Gerry winter doll can be used as an elf on the shelf for the chateau at Christmas. Everyone can move him around with little treats each morning until Christmas. How sweet and thoughtful everyone who have sent gifts.

So many delightful things in our world. The Ladybird being one of them... it is in fact a beetle ... so therefore it is technically the Ladybird Beetle 🐞... so to be picky Ladybug is another cute name but not technically a bug... bugs are a different group of insects. Only saying as I find it interesting.. it doesn't really matter... lovely to learn of such different and grand names around the world for such a tiny wee creature ❤
Pavlina should teach you how to make gorgeous traditional pasynky eggs. They're stunning and a tradition that MUST continue! 🥰🥰🥰
As always, lovely presents! Thank you for the video!
Your mom and Percy melt my heart ❤️ , love you so much ❤️
Stephanie I'll say one thing for you you always come through on your videos and they're more than one weekly thank you so much! Much love from Oklahoma USA Jackie 🇺🇸💖
Haha wished Philip was there to tell the Dutch translation of a ladybird 😂
In Norwegian, the lady bug is called «Mary Chicken» (Marihøne). We also have a saying «A loved child has many names”, so I guess that little red and black bug is quite loved 😅❤

Ah that's fun! We also have the "kärt barn har många namn" saying in Swedish! 😁 But a ladybug is "nyckelpiga" (key maid). Something to do with the Virgin Mary though. As she was said to have the keys to all the heavens.
Love to everyone x
It is amazing how the red toile de jouy clutch was created from a rescued t-shirt fabric! 👏🏼👏🏼 To MuXu Creations 👏🏼👏🏼

The cute little gnome with his Sleigh you should put him around the House and see him people can find him when you do the Christmas calendar❤🎄 where is the gnome❤🎄
What a lovely Victorian slide bracelet!
Instantly! Without hesitation you visualize exactly where each item belongs in the Chateau. It’s a lovely skill, welcoming everything & giving things a perfect home or purpose. …honoring them. It’s why you keep receiving blessings, the laws of abundance brilliantly employed.
Growing up in NZ with Scottish Grandmother the lady bird nursery rhyme suddenly returned to me with this vlogg. Lady bird, Lady bird fly away home. Your house is on fire and your children are alone, so Lady Bird ,Lady bird fly away home." If a ladybird ever landed on us we would sing this to it as it invariably soon flew off so beautifully.

Good evening everybody ! So happy to view all these thoughtful and beautiful gifts.
The scallop shell is a symbol of pilgrimage, the journey a Christian makes through life. Sometimes, the priest uses a real or silver scallop shell to scoop up the water on the font bowl, to pour it over the person who is being baptised. What a lovely addition to the chapel!

I just love seeing the adoring looks & touches between Mummy & Percy. Warms my heart.when Stephanie asked “have you tried it?” Regarding milking a lady bug (American no a Texan). I nearly lost it!!!
In Danish, a ladybird is called a mariehøne = a Marie chicken 🤷♀
Loved all the gifts! So unique and special. It’s wonderful to think of each person carefully selecting these gifts to express their appreciation of all the wonderful LaLanders who spread such happiness to us all. For your information the city of Bendigo was built as a result of the Australian Gold Rush. Australia was one of the wealthiest nations in the world at that time due to the gold rush and mining of other resources such as silver, iron ore and copper. Those chairs are unique Australian antique chairs. The cottage is so beautiful and looks lovingly restored and furnished. And yes it’s wonderful to see a viewer’s home. I imagine Philip may take up dresser styling changes as well as table settings once he sees that book! 🤣😂 Bendigo is currently experiencing floods along with many other parts of Australia. Approximately half of Australia is affected which is a huge area when you consider Australia is the same size as the USA. My best wishes to all Australians affected from a South Australian! 😘😘
Beautiful gifts for a greater purpose! 😁❤️🇨🇦🇫🇷🎶🎶🎶

In Germany ladybirds are called "Marys/Marias beatle" 😂 never thought of it in context of virgin Mary but hearing the other translations it makes complete sense 😊
It is mind blowing..Little Lady Cow, Lady Bird, in Canada its Lady Bug...Pavleana is correct...Wonderful gifts, lovley opening. ❤️Cheers from 🇨🇦
Could string or maybe plant labels be kept in the lady figurine pot?
Wonderful gifts and profound thanks as usual. What a great way to spread the good will with others.
A delight, much-needed. Thank you.
Winter scot man!!
In Croatia ladybird or ladybug is called bubamara (Bug Mary) or božja ovčica (god’s sheep).
Hearing all these translations for the little bug with black spotted red wings made me wonder if the British name Lady Bird could have a link with the European names with a link to The Lady, the Virgin Mary? ????
It is a Maria fly fly😊 Love this vlog, regards from Norway

Un des noms folkloriques de la coccinelle ici au Québec est 'bibittes à Bon Dieu' donc on peut y voir le lien avec la religion également ici.
In Afrikaans a ladybird is called a “liewenheersbesie” which translates as “good god’s bug”
Plant markers and pencils in the lady gardener pot?
In Brazil Ladybugs are called Little Joannas 😄🐞
In Greece we call Ladybirds or Ladybugs ΠΑΣΧΑΛΙΤΣΑ (pasqualitsa) plural: ΠΑΣΧΑΛΙΤΣΕΣ (dont know exactly why...). Perhaps has something to do with Easter (ΠΑΣΧΑ in Greek).
l liked!
When it comes to Chateau Unwrapped there's a saying that perfectly wraps up my thoughts about each video: Nothing says lovin' like cadeaux by the dozen, and Stephanie does it best.
In hebrew lady bug is called MOSES' cow our rabbi moses' cow
If anyone has heard about Jetje, can they let us know please?
Who knew that a ladybird had sooo many different names 😅
Never heard anything except ladybug. It’s definitely a bug; not a bird or a cow…
Let me tell you that, in Breton langage We said « Buoch’ig doué » for Lady bug or coccinelle. Which literally means « God’s little cow » (La petite vachette du bon dieu). How funny it is, to find nearly the same name for this insect in so many different cultures. Definitly We are « One ». ❤
