I had a cat growing up who had a near death experience from freezing. She was a long haired, outdoor cat living in the woods in the far north. We found her frozen one day, and had to thaw her out and feed her corn syrup in a heated blanket for a few days before she could get up and move again. After that point she didn't groom herself at all. She got big mats of fur we would have to shave like a lamb every spring. She was a little brain damaged; still very sweet, just a little stupid. She would fall off things and run into walls. But she lived to 18 years, and seemed to be pretty happy.

I have never heard of anything like what you wrote! You are wonderful for saving this cat even though she was not her full self after. At least she lived and i will bet she was so happy living indoors with you!

I have 13 feral cats that I feed and care for. I have 2 feral cats in my house and they are the best and smartest cats i have ever had. I am 89 years old and my feral cats keep me busy and I love them all. They are my blessings from Jesus. Help take care of some feral cats in your area and you will be blessed by the LORD and be loved by the feral cats.

Bless you for your love and caring for less-fortunate cats that are sadly homeless. Where I live there’s a shelter for feral cats that does outreach capture-spay/neuter-release, as well as housing within the shelter that offers them for adoption. My last kitty was adopted from that shelter. He was such a joy and one of the most loving of cats I ever knew. Sadly, at the age of 9, the last 4 with me, he died in horrible pain on my kitchen floor at 3:30 AM this past November 11th. It was both heartbreaking and gut-wrenching. The vet thought it was some sort of vascular disease or collapse. He’s with me in a beautiful urn atop my entertainment centre, with battery votive lights on either side. I have specified that his ashes be co-mingled with mine when I die.

One of my cats wakes me up about 5am every morning climbing on me purring and rubbing her face on me. She lays on me and I pet her. After a while she leaves and I go back to sleep.

Two Rag Dolls own me! They are brother & sister, so different, but still very loving - in their own way. If they can’t get my attention ( because I have the audacity to sleep - each one will poke at me ( hey wake up, I NEED attention) I’ll pet them until they leave and go to sleep AND NOW I AM AWAKE😂

She failed her mission: To make you get up and feed her because she can just barely see the bottom of her food dish and is worried she may starve. I had been sleeping on my back and woke up to find my cat sitting on my chest, just staring down at my face. It was rather unnerving. A moment later, he hops down and walks out of the room. A few minutes later, I'm dozing off again, and he hops back up on the bed and procedes to walk over me, then turns around and walks back over me and hops down again. A few minutes later he repeats the process, so I got up and I discovered that in the night he had eaten and managed to expose the bottom of his dish. There was still plenty of food, but apparently this was a huge issue for him, because after I shook the dish and settled the food, he ate a little. I went back to bed and he hopped back up, curled up next to me and went to sleep himself.

I have 2 cats. Very helpful. Glad I'm doing the right thing as their guardian!

People won't listen.. cats are communicating constantly. You just need to listen. 😢

I have been fostering cats from a local shelter for a few years, now. I currently am caring for an FIV pos tabby rescued from an abandoned farm a couple of years ago. He needed a lot of work socializing when he first arrived at the shelter, lol, and myself and many other volunteers have the scars to prove it. He has been in my home about a year now(I made him a permanent foster) and we have come a long way in his development. Thank you for this video, it has reassured me that things are actually going fantastic for us and he is slowly becoming quite a happy, secure and loving puddy tat. Take care.

Every night, after kneading, purr meow grunts, l get a purring cat hat draped over my head, and a tail banging me in the face. Glad she's happy, but l have to get up in a few hours and go teach my high school kids!! 🙂❤️

A big increase in appetite can also be a warning sign!! My cat had a thyroid issue and he was ravenous. Poor guy. He died last August. He was about 13 years old.

Yes, it happens! Both cats would likely love to pass out on your chest but there is usually not enough room. Not to mention, with too many cats on you, you would have trouble breathing...lol. Cats find comfort in listening and experiencing your heartbeat.

One of my 9 month old cats is extremely quiet as well. She only recently started to make a very small rrrrr sound. Her sister is a little more vocal but still only trills quietly. They are very affectionate and playful 🥰

I worry that my kitty is happy. This makes me feel better knowing that I'm giving her what she wants and needs. I love my happy little fur-baby.❤

I miss Kringle he was my first rescue cat 🐈 he found me at Christmas time some 20 years ago ,then bear 🐻 then Krissy. Thanks for the video. Kringle passed on a few years ago. I still have bear 🐻 and Krissy they keep me on my toes. Krissy know how to work me . Here is just one time I made me a sandwich an didn't put the lunch meat up. Then it got quiet I went to investigate 🔎 . I wanted to get mad but I couldn't Kringle was on the table hugging the boars head turkey off the table, bear and Krissy where the look outs. They keep me on my toes

i rescued 2 kittens that are feral , their mother had 2 set of twins, 2 orange/white and 2 gray /white one gray/ white was killed while trying to cross over the parking lot where i live to go into the corn feild where they were living . the mother and the remaining kitten had been taken by a neighbor to live with other cats and kittens for their safety/ my 2 kittens will be 1 year old this summer .they have been to a vet ,gotten all their shots, and have a great bill of health.i love these 2 balls of fur with all my hart and soul .

My cat is not a cuddly cat, he doesn't like to sit in my lap, bring picked up, and rarely rubs against me. He always been that way. But he sleeps on the bed with me, just not next to me or lays next to me when I'm sitting, but not touching me. He also has no interest in boxes, I think he doesn't really like being closed in.

My cat lets me touch his belly, kiss his belly and he sleeps with his belly exposed

My two cats are 9 months old and exhibit almost everything except for meows. They instead will trill and make a brrrrr sound when I talk to them. They brrr then I brrr and they brrrr back 😊🥰

Mostly at breakfast my cat will wait for me to get my breakfast before she starts eating hers; it's so cute! When I say her name, often she'll utter a vocalization that sounds similar in tone to a human "What?" or "Yes?"

My cats are always bringing me toys so I can play with them. They always want to be with me, and I always want to be with them.❤

I found a kitten about 3 weeks old I have been syringe feeding him and now he's eating Kitty food I took him to the vet everything is fine with him he is very happy he is 2 months old now can somebody please tell me how to get him to come to his name I've tried everything I'm not a cat person but I love this little baby kitten I don't know anything about cats how do I get him to come to his name I've always had dogs but this cat just captured my heart and now I don't know how to train him the right way please help me with any suggestions you have thank you in advance

It's speaks no volumes and says absolutely nothing other than human beings can make mistakes. A lot of people have spotted it - and pointed it out. It has become object of some very funny and nice jokes, so I am not editing it on purpose. I am actually enjoying exchanging some fun lines with my community. About how mistakes can be sneaky. I remember reviewing the acknowledgements section of my master's degree graduation dissertation at least 20 times (It was actually the very first page after the cover and I wanted it to be perfect). Went on to print it to hand it in. When I walked out of the printers, I was standing there very proud of my two volumes in which I put 3 years of my efforts. I opened up the acknowledgements and the first thing I noticed, five lines down, was a typo .. Mistakes can happen, no matter how many times you reviewed something.
