My little baby boy, Lexi, 1,5 years old, Greek, sleeps with me most nights. Snuggled up against my back or my tummie. In the mornings, when I am slowly waking up, Chili, Italian, my 2,5 year old boy, joins the cuddle. He usually snuggles into my neck, drools on me (urgh) and purrs me awake. When I am actually getting up, my sweet 9 year old lady Misha, Rumanian, comes into my bedroom to say hello and get her morning cuddles. I just love my little trio and am so happy to take care of them and keep them save. They are all rescue kitties from southern countries in Europe. Animal welfare is very good in Germany, where I live (no shelters where animals are killed if they do not get adopted, a bit of support by the government, good communities to support those shelters with money and supplies and so on). So I started to adopt from Italy, Greek, Rumania... Animal welfare in those countries is not so well supported. My little trio is my family. And I will always support the massege: Adopt! Don't shop!

Let's face it. You be sleeping on a double king bed & hanging on to 2 inches & still your kitty cat is somehow pushing you off the bed. They would prefer you on the floor & they control the bed. But so how we still love them. WHY?

My 2nd cat did loved me the most in cuddling and even belly rubs on my belly. He was a very sweet and friendly cat. Even my 1st cat was also sweet and friendly,too in a little different way. He was buddy towards me. These 2 cats both were American shorthair red tabbies. They both were friends to each other. Only 1 cat that did hated me was my grandmother’s grey Persian cat. She did only liked my grandmother.
Great information. Confirms many of thinks I "thought" might be true. We rarely travel. SIGH, routines; retired recently and our four cats will make sure I'm up at 5 a.m.. SIGH double sigh. But it's o.k.. The cats (children) are so much happier having me around. Lesson Learned, I don't train cats, they have trained me. Great joy to now spend more time with.

I wish my cats hated me when I need to use the bathroom. 😂 management gets angry with me sometimes if we move something in the house without giving her at least 3 days notice in writing, in triplicate and served with treats. She’s aloof. The other one gets angry with me if I go to bed and forget to tell him. 😊 Ps regarding punishments, I’ve noticed after a lifetime of cats that showing your displeasure to indicate it as such and otherwise ignoring bad behavior will get them to stop quicker, especially if they are doing it for attention. This does not apply to things they do for specific reasons like scratching, marking, going outside the designated areas. But a lot of my cats bad behavior is just like a child seeking attention. If I ignore him, he’s more likely to stop. Then I reward him by playing with him a short while later. I also talk to them, they know a lot of verbal cues. Routines seem to be very important for cats. Mine coral me to bed if I’m late, wake me up if I sleep in, expect certain things at certain times, so you have to anticipate that and plan accordingly.

She owned a number of cats, including British grays and black cats. My grandmother once said to me (a long time ago) these two statements regarding our feline friends, "Black cats don't steal souls - they steal hearts." Its making it sound like please dont touch me what so ever i love my cat he came to me from another family as he was a bully to another cat so i left him to settle with me being on my own and yes it helps to get information but listening to this its frightening i know were and how long to feel my cat i never push him i think listening to you is not going down well
Its amazing but my Tuxey wakes me up at exactly 5:05AM every morning sitting on my chest to be fed. I feed him then in 10 minutes he's back in bed with me until noon everyday. I will die the day he crosses the 🌈 bridge.
I’m reading this with my little cat snuggled beside me on OUR bed. I’m a carer and I doubt I could get through a day without her. She does calm and helps me, at 78, deal with all life’s problems. 🥰

My cat loves having his face rubbed. My boyfriend has a special way he rubs his cheeks and its adorable to see! He loves his belly petted as well. Just a couple strokes, nothing long term....he is a character and we love him very much!

After giving in to cats' nightly pleadings to let them sleep in my bed caused me to develop an allergic reaction. It got worse. Not to mention they'd slap my face around 4am or 5am to wake me up because they were ready to play.

Unfortunately my cat never comes out when the cat sitter comes. She is very shy. My cat sitter does change the litter box and feeds her daily. I know she misses me when I’m gone. I think it would be more stressful if I boarded her.

My cat sleeps on my feet which is great in winter because I live in a very cold climate. She serves as a purring hot water bottle. Sometimes, she also snores! I usually wake up to use the restroom around 1:00AM. Julie wakes up with me and I play with her for 15 minutes followed by a kitty catnip treat. We go back to bed and she wakes me around 5:00 which is when I need to get up and get ready for the drive to work. Julie is a rescue from a hoarded house belonging to a cat lady who was found deceased by a neighbor.

Each one of my 4 kittens has a different way of helping me. No.1 kitty has the best massages nd only gives them sparingly No.2 kitty has a double purr that helps me heal my scars quickly. No.3 kitty has the ability to calm me down and make me loose time as I stroke her. No.4 kitty has the ability to put me to sleep with her double purr and trill. I have the best 4 kittens in the world 😺😺😺😺❤️
