Always sad to see that the only young faces in these halls are on stage. If the youth does not appreciate this art it will be lost in the near future.

There are, to the best of my knowledge, 4 people under the age of 40 in this performance (out of 59 performers). Almost all are over the age of 50, since these are performers who have been singing & playing with ARTEK during the past 30 years, and at least half are over 60. It's true that the audience up front is mostly older, since they tend to more often have the financial resources to buy those much more expensive seats. But in the back half, where you can't see the audience well, there were plenty of young faces. I'm just pointing out that your comment is often true but would be better made on a lot of other videos. ARTEK's performers skew older and very experienced - the best American early music performers, and many of our audience has loyally followed us for many years for which we are very grateful. There are plenty of other groups here in New York City that are young, and those do have mostly older audiences.

Sounds very like South American Renaissance/baroque music.

Vastly more singers were called for.
