@@sherylchapman4168 It came with attachments to bracket to the patio, but because I have slate I didn’t want to risk drilling into it. It weighs 600 pounds, so I think it will be fine unless we get tornado strength winds (which is a possibility in Illinois)!

You are so right! Sharing our love for the things that make us happy - crafting, repurposing, cooking, canning, vintage, and more - is sharing a piece of ourselves. Often, the gift of sharing our love returns to us. When it is time to part with something I have truly loved, it is even more special if I can give it to someone who will continue to love it in their own way. Often, when decluttering, I donate. But those really special items find homes where they will start a new life! Shared love multiplies the love in the same way shared grief divides the grief and helps make it bearable. We are meant to share - it benefits the giver and receiver! Lovely patio, too!

You’re so right Sherry…. When my neighbors move they always give me things they’re not taking with them. In the last year I have been graciously given a empire era dresser, 1950’s step stool, plant stands, kitchen scales, a Sellars Cabinet and a 1940’s Chiffarobe. Plus, don’t be shy about plants!!! People often don’t take their house plants or outdoor planters!! Great Patio video! Thx Sherry!

My aunt passed away and her favourite summer chair was wicker that she thrifted. I will be refurbishing it with new paint and cushion in her memory. Thank you for all your crafty ideas. I can’t wait for summer to arrive.

Your patio is awesome. I would love to join you on it any time of day. I absolutely love the plastic column turned planter. It's so awesome. It would also look good as an end table with a piece of tempered glass on the top. I'm going to have to look for one or more of these. The lamp is awesome too. Let's face it. Everything you create is awesome!!! Battery operated Fairy fairy lights would look awesome on your birdhouse chandelier !!

Well Sherry you've done it once more and that pergola is a dream come true! What a great focal point to get the whole thing started. I think bright green lumbar pillows would bring a pop of color and coordinate with the moss in the terrarium. A large sunburst on the house with a smiling face would be cool too! You'll need a bucket and small shovel for your ashes from the table fire pit...how about a galvanized container and a small garden trowel for a scoop. Maybe some remote candles. You have definitely inspired me..I hope you get lots of use out of your patio and enjoy watching the birds and your flowers grow!!! A little bit of sun to warm and relax you sounds good to me!!

Add lights by putting solar path light tops into an old candle chandelier. Your patio is beautiful. I especially like your pergola and fairy lights!

How inviting! I really enjoyed last year's patio remake video but the addition of the rug, pergola, wood box, and planters turned your patio into a space with plenty of "wow" factors making it ready for summer enjoyment. This video is great inspiration for reinventing what you already have and investing in what you need to buy for larger structural or foundational pieces. For an added finishing touch: in order to emphasize that the flowing lights are actually coming from the tea pot, outline its circumference with fairy lights conformed to shape of the teapot.

Oh my gosh, you think like I do. I love refurbishing old things by making them beautiful & new. Picked up a old log bed in a trash pile, will be making a “Bed of Roses” in my flower garden. So much fun . Your work is beautiful❤️
