My mother was very crafty when it came to repurposing stuff from around the farm for indoor and outdoor decor about 50 years before it became trendy. We never threw anything away and I still pick up stuff around the farm and out of my Dad’s tobacco barn to repurpose. I ran across a box full of Christmas cards collected over the years..not sure what the plan is but I drug them home.

Totally agree!! She is so full of talent! My Dad had three of these old clock radios in his garage he’d hung onto. First thing I thought of when I saw this.

I used my antique ornament boxes to create dioramas with vintage finds...one of my favorite craft ever.

I love it all!!! My favorites are the Christmas card wreath abd snowflake door knob hanger. I love the vintage vibe!!

I did not even know that I liked Victorian Christmas decorations......and turns out that ......I do!!!!! What great ideas. While I don't have a vintage radio, now remember how awesome dioramas are. My head is swimming with ideas! Thank you.

You never cease to amaze me! I was sufficiently impressed when you made a bird cage ornament out of literally nothing, but then you go and "trim" vintage sheet music to a snowflake by catching it on fire! 😂 I don't know how you think of all these things! The angel wings were my favorite. I could see that piece being seasonal, or even adorning a wall in a shabby chic room with a centerpiece of pastel pink roses and cream-colored lace ribbon!

I fell in love with the scene in the clock radio. Everything was super looking.

My favorite was the Shiny Bright diorama. I love the bulbs and boxes. So glad to see these images, as I wouldn't want to destroy my boxes for decorations.

Sherry, your calming voice and your always surprising creativity has been a welcome break in my challenging work as an Occupational Therapist in these trying times. These are all so good, but I liked the diorama in the shinny brite box and the wreath made with vintage cards the best.

I've ALWAYS loved dioramas ever since I was a child. They fascinated me. I was given diorama eggs as a child too and kept them til the sugars turned yellow 💛 😉

I love it all but my favorite is the clock radio. I just have not had luck finding anything like that. Ingenious.

I, too, am having a much harder time lately finding nice clocks to use for projects. I actually bought two off Facebook Marketplace to use for Christmas projects because I wasn’t seeing anything at the thrift stores.

That first one with the clock radio was great! I would have painted it green to add to the Xmas look.

I have been viewing Christmas DYI videos on KZread for years. They have for the most part all been done before and are boringly repetitious. My favorite was the diorama as well. I remember those boxes so well, and the milk caps also! My father delivered dairy products to homes for One Oak Dairy, on Long Island in New York. At home, we had the insulated metal box on our front “stoop” for our milkman Bill. Once again, It was hard to pick a favorite!

I love, love, love dioramas!! I found a couple of vintage Shiny Brite boxes at the Goodwill store the other day for $1 a piece which I purchased, but I’ve been hesitant to cut them at all. Now that I can print out these replicas, I can make dioramas without fear of harming a vintage item!!!
