You need only 2 tools in life: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn´t move and should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn´t, use duct tape.

  • @rhondadickey6658

WD 40 residue is slick on hard surfaces, which is a slip/fall hazard. Be diligent and thorough in cleaning it after use. I highly recommend NOT using it on carpet because the residue will attract and hold dirt in carpet fibers, which results in dark, dirty spots in the area that was cleaned . Thoroughly cleaning the residue will take a long time because it requires multiple applications of soap, and each soap application requires a lot of water to rinse it out (soap residue also attracts and holds dirt). Most other uses, I already have non toxic methods of solving problems. Haven't had WD-40 for years after my husband who was a pipe fitter in a refinery said it should not be used without understanding its properties and using it only in appropriate circumstances.

Here's a savings hack: You can buy a gallon of WD-40 for as little as $20.00 or around $32.00. That gets you 128 oz. Compare that to $11 or $12 dollars for those little 12 oz cans. Get a tiny funnel and fill up a squeeze bottle like an old nasal spray bottle.

WD 40 = # 1 Water displacement, the rest is ,.. actually history. Some claim it works for their arthritis, and I believe it to be a great product MINUS the fact that the can runs out of propellant WAY before the solvent. MENTAL NOTE; If I want to recharge this can, make sure I have the equipment, ie, say,.. a rotor off a truck to CONTAIN that fukin thing if it desides to give you the WHAT FOR. ...and no, don't spray that shit on your boots cuz it ain't gun work. I lubricate the chain of my bicycle with WD-40 as it can be used as a fine and non-stick lubricant and use it on chrome parts of my motorbike after washing it so it could avoid corrosion and rust.

Yes, because as we all learned from Artie Johnson on Laugh In, most accidents occur at home-so keep your mother in law around the house.

I only see 4 uses besides the obvious lubrication: Use as a solvent. Permanent Marker - Shoe Scuff - Crayon - Sticker Removal - Glue on a Watch? Use to mask scratches. Skis and Shoe Shine Use for fuel. Like id have a can of WD-40 before any other kind of liquid fuel. And Use to make your house permanently smell like WD-40. Gum in Carpet - Ketchup in carpet - Bug repellant.
