Honey Badger Attacks
A struggle takes place between a honey badger and a monitor lizard. Is the honey badger capableof bringing it down? Make no mistake: the badger, not the lizard, is the hunter here, and as you can see, the badger takes little time to dispatch the lizard. My friends, it's time for some eggs and "lizard sausages" on the grill for breakfast. It’s always a treat to catch a glimpse of the elusive honey badger, but no one on location could have guessed they would see one chasing a monitor lizard! After surviving several jackal attacks and resisting, a turtle reaches the end of the road, when a honey badger spots the reptile and eats right through it.
There aren’t too many animals that honey badgers will not attack. As it digs deeper and deeper inside the tortoise’s shell, the honey badger in this video is looking for the reptile’s tender meat, and eventually finds it. If it is edible, nothing will stop a honey badger from eating it. A perfect example is that they can't get enough of beehives, because they are nuts for honey, hence, they can withstand a lot of stings, ransacking a hive. Bees can be dangerous. When honey badgers were first described in South Africa, they were frequently found in beehives, apparently feeding on honey, hence why they are called “Honey badgers”, but it turns out that the honey badger was more interested in bee brood - the nutritious bee larvae found in honeycomb.
Honey Badger VS Leopard
When three young leopards decide to gang up on a honey badger, they think it’s going to be a cakewalk killing the animal, but it’s the farthest thing from the truth. The honey badger fights and bites the three timid felines and eventually walks away from there with just a few scratches. This video depicts a honey badger's bravery in rescuing her young from a leopard. She charges at breakneck speed and leaps over the leopard, nearly snapping her young guy's neck.
As he understands how insane the badger is, this mother's bravery saves her son and scares the large cat away. Despite its diminutive size, the honey badger has a reputation for being Africa's most brave animal. It is even featured in the Guinness Book of Records as the "most fearless mammal on the planet." Is it true that the leopard has the upper hand by dragging the honey badger into the tree? The leopard's strength, agility, and comfort in trees are well-known.

Nothing hunts a Wolverine.
Nature always has the best examples to show. These little creatures are big warriors at heart and it shows on each battle.

Aww look at little Honey Badger buddy... Tearing into... into... into the entire animal kingdom
It's incredible that even a hyena is apprehensive about attacking a badger. The badger's reputation for being dangerous is well earned.
Love honey badgers!! I grew up in northern Minnesota and have nothing but respect for badgers, as if we have a choice!
Both are crazy and fearless
It's devastating to see the consequences of nature's clashes. Sending positive vibes to the injured tiger.
My top favorite animals: Lion, tiger, Rhino, Bisson and now Honey Badge and Wolverine. I like all animals actually but some are just so amazing.
Lion may be the pride of the pack, but these 2 are the pride of nature
Back in the 1990's I was travelling in a wild area of Michigan (where I live). I was driving slowly down a paved country road when something moved onto the roadway. It was a badger. I thought it would walk across the road so I stopped. The badger attacked the car. I backed up and somehow got around the badger. They are fearless.
Thanks for the video !
Honey badger dont give two fucks. Most predators will move on and try avoid these little bad boys 😂😂😂 thats why wolverine is my fav comic hero. Small but strong and ferocious

Videos about the animal world are truly a constant source of knowledge for me. They make me understand many interesting things about the world around me
Simply the best 👌
Animals are very smart. Big cats know that the honey badger is not worth the time so they just avoid it. They know it does not taste good so why even bother with it. They would rather run from it than get bitten by it. A very hungry leopard can and will kill it and eat it!

It is the very same with the Wolverine. I saw video of a wolverine talking a kill from a black bear. Of course the bear could ultimately kill the wolverine. But it knew "I'm gonna have to kill this emeffer and it ain't gonna be easy" and wisely opted out. I wouldn't want either animal mad at me.
Very cool video I really like the honey badger and the Wolverine videos more please
Each species of wild animal plays a unique role in the ecosystem.
From what I think I know. Both are fearless. Both can ride their adrenaline to victory, or at least a stand off. Fear converts to aggression instantly for both. Neither will run, as this will induce most predators to attack. The wolverine, of the two, seems more capable of inflicting damage. While the honey badger has more formidable physical and chemical defenses. Best be careful. It is said that blunt force trauma to their skulls is the best way to dispatch them, if you don't have a gun, or spear. The honey badgers hide is thick and loose. No matter where you grab one, it will be able to literally turn within its hide in order to counter attack. If pressed, they go for the crotch. Both are cunning and surprisingly intelligent. There was a tale from over 100 years ago. This tale was told by a Native American. The teller of the story claimed that a wolverine was disabling the traps along his trap line. Eventually, the wolverine infiltrated his cabin while he was away, and chewed through all his food stores, including his canned goods. When the local trade post proprietor heard his story, he loaned him new supplies and equipment. Do not underestimate these large weasels. Do not dismiss their blind rage for stupidity. They instinctively know your weaknesses.
This video is really great, I really like watching wild animals, can you make more videos like this
It would be unfair for the lion and hyena to have to contend with a larger honey badger. Imagine if these things ever weighed 70 pounds.
The reason large predators will not engage a badger or wolverine is that even if they win they understand that if the prey seriously injures it then its ability to hunt and survive is seriously compromised. I once saw a grizzly take down an elk in Yellowstone. Suddenly a wolverine appeared on the steep slope above and just came loping down the hill from the trees as if it was out for stroll. It ran directly toward the grizzly trying to enjoy its meal and immediately started to bare its teeth and attack the grizzly which at first stood up as if it would fight, but eventually literally turned tail and ran. Then unbelievably the wolverine grabs the elk and starts dragging the big carcass up this steep slope and into the trees. I was stunned as I watched all this unfolding in front of me. It made me think man this is not an animal you want to piss off. They are very solitary animals and in a perpetual bad mood. I understood that that grizzly could have killed the wolverine, but the bear knew the cost of killing it might result in severe injury that would make it unable to hunt. Better be hungry than to risk being injured and not be able to survive.
Ironically neither the wolverine nor the honey badger attacks man. However I don't think I'd push my luck if I got near their food. However they are not aggressive towards us and will avoid us if possible. In fact badgers have been known to be friendly towards us but wolverines are always cautious and will always choose to avoid us. They're also a protected species.
Predators can't afford injuries; hence, they'll back off and choose battles wisely . ..
Honey Badger is like the boxer Manny Pacquiao. Small but deadly
Badgers? Badgers? We don’t need no stinking badgers!
Obviously their tough, but having that attitude is very handy, bigger animals back up because of the bold aggressive moves.

Fisher cats are lighter and quicker than wolverines. Their favorite prey is the porcupine and have no fear of humans.

Awsome honey badger
Remember from Honey Heist - Honey Badgers are honorary Bears.
In my opinion, the Wolverine is the tougher of the two. It Hass to live in freezing temperatures and they fight alone, and they take out animals way bigger than them.
@3:33 That C blocking was a dick move by the Honey Badger.
How does honey badger deal with a fully mature cobra? Do honey badgers fight against each other? How does honey badgers deal with large crocs or alligators.
Wolverine is KING!
The truth is that although Honey badgers have balls of steel, that is often their biggest downfall. They take on leopards and lions etc and often the leopards will run as they're solitary animals that can't afford to get injured, if they can't hunt thsyll starve BUT sometimes the big cats decide to fight back and 99.9% it's game over for the badger. They may be fearless but the big cats are much bigger and stronger and will come out victorious
I married a honey badger. She is very possessive when it comes to her family, and this grizzly respects her. 55 years and counting.
Good job they’re not as big as a lion !... if they were we’d have a problem.

Wolverines can bite.through frozen bones, and honey badgers eat cobras and adders for a living. I would give them space.

Here is what I know. A Tracker was placed on a Male Wolverine and watched every other week. In his "Mating" season the male went up a 14,000 foot mountain and down the other side to see his "Lady" then went right up and over the same mountain. These are Territorial mammals but Wow! Just to get laid?! The foot print of a Wolverine is around 10 inches wide armed with Talons 4 inches long. The Wee Beastie is built to surf the snow. Bears Caribou Wolves are on the menu to a male Wolverine. Don't get me started on the Female.

The wolverines are bigger than the badgers but both species are tough nails. The badgers will back away from some larger cats but wolverines won't. I am not sure what will happen when a wolverine face a tiger or a lion. Actually, there is a realistic chance that the wolverines will encounter tigers in E. Siberia.

If Jaguars were in the same region that would be an extremely vicious and deadly fight for honey badger or the wolverine....maybe the wolverine because they're bigger. The Jaguars are just as vicious as any feline and they actually have the most powerful bite force between the Lion and the Tiger

@@charlieo3150 Jaguars DO co exist with river otters.. and they leave each other alone for the most part. sure an adult male jaguar can kill even an adult male otter but it wont be easy and there is even a video on youtube showing one time a jaguar tried it and had to retreat because like ALL weasals, they have loose skin and can still turn around and bite and claw your in the face even while being bitten from the back.
