I'm Italian and cotoletta di pollo is probably one of my comfort meals, although I don't eat it often anymore. My grandma sometimes made it for lunch when I was a kid and came back from school to her house, and I loved it! Instead of frying the chicken, though, she baked it in the oven, because she was a health freak and didn't want to give her family fried food. Regardless, it was fantastic! I still remember the taste to this day! And yes, the lemon juice is just perfect for it! Try it! Unfortunately, my grandma is gone now, and I really miss her sometimes. I think of her every time I see a cotoletta di pollo. I've never had chicken cutlets as good as hers, ever.

OK. I need those chicken cutlets now!!! The breading looks so perfect and crunchy!

I was scouring videos for chicken recipe ideas. I found this recipe a day before loved that it could come together in almost 15 minutes. Took me a bit longer than 15 minutes but cooking a new recipe always does. The your so right simple was delicious. I cooked the chicken and mushroom recipe. Usually my chicken comes out tough to chew. But this recipe was so delicious.My chicken came out tender soft I did flatten the tenders just like you suggest in this video. I used wheat flour to coat my chicken tenders and vegtable stock instead of chicken stock. I paired this with chibatta bread & small romaine lettuce, tomatoe salad. It was yummy. Definitely one of my new fav go to dishes. ❤ Ty for posting.

Every recipe I've followed of yours is out of this world amazing. Easy, and delicious. Worth every bite. My favorite cooking channel. I will definitely try the chicken mushroom, going to try to make this with just whole milk, and scoop of whip topping since I don't have heavy cream.

Love it, Emma! So many memories with the cotoletta (I'm from Rome too 😉)... 🥰 I do a similar receipt as yours with the mushrooms, but I add also other vegetables (broccoli, carots, tomatoes... whatever you like, actually) and I use coconut milk instead of heavy cream... love it! 🫶🤤

Just made this today, didn't have all the ingredients exactly, made what I had work, turned out delicious my husband, and even my little picky eater loved it. You are the best cooker on you tube because every single recipe I try of yours turns out like a luxury restaurant girl, even if I don't have all the ingredients, I love your eggless cake recipes, where you use yogurt instead, taste so much better, better than any famous bakery I've tried, Thanks for making our birthday, and other celebrations a hit. as a disabled person, cooking is very physically taxing. i just made the creamy mushroom chicken and it was SOOO easy! i skipped flattening the chicken tenders but it still came out very delicious! thank you for sharing your recipes emma

Thanks so much! You reminded me of my (Italian) mother's veal cutlets - where I now live, veal is not usually available so I use pork instead for making cutlets -- all 3 meats prepared this way in thin slivers are quick, easy, delicious - and Italian!🥰

I'm not a fan of squeezing lemon onto any meat, but I'd try it with the chicken cutlets. Both dishes look very good; I'm thinking egg noodles (I'm a carboholic) would pair well with the creamy mushroom chicken. I look forward to future dinner ideas from you, Emma!

Nice 😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 I do somthing similar with the chicken cutlets but make chicken parmigiana and of course I use some seasonings and cheese to build a delicious chicken parmigiana sub sandwich with lots of cheese and tomato sauce. I'm going to definitely give your recipes a go though they look pretty good. 😁 Thanks for sharing Emma.

Love these! Can you recommend a vegetable that would go well with the creamy sauce chicken? I'm diabetic so trying to avoid starches like noodles, potatoes, or rice.
