Coping mechanism for sure! Better to react in comedic fashion than in panic. My husband is a panic type and I remember he scared tf out of our kids when I had them huddling in a closet because of a tornado. I was pregnant and couldn’t fit, so I sat at the door with my hand on the knob and my husband was next to me and this man starts straight up praying like he’s performing an exorcism. I’m telling him to shut up and trying to calm my kids down while watching a Nader on the opposite side of the house through a window

Full on panicpraying isn’t good of course, but that’s not what I got from the story. Even though I’m not like that and I’m part of the majority of guyz that can be really calm in stressfull situations, I do understand why praying seems like a good idea in such a case…

She inconvenienced the officers that day & went on a little joy ride. Nothing any of the officers have to pay for damages on cuz it’s not their personal property the government will just pay for it through our taxes… in reality like all she did was inconvenience them, & just like when someone is inconvenienced by a mosquito landing on the back of their neck & biting, they swat & kill that mosquito. the mosquito dies… just like they ended her life, & she very likely will die behind bars, cuz she made fools out of them. What she did wasn’t right, but 45 years isn’t right either… I could understand like 5 years, & 10 would be really pushing it… but this is just the government swatting her life away like she’s a bug. That isn’t right. She’s not a murderer or anything, she shouldn’t be punished that excessively… if she stole your car or my car she wouldn’t be facing 45 years, & nor would I want her to even if she stole my car. See the double standard?… I’ve had my car stolen twice before, & as much as it pissed me the fuck off & I wanna see the thief get what they deserve - I wouldn’t want them locked up for 45 years…

@@2dronetek2it’s a body lift. Especially with leg trauma and bad terrain, feet first would be the way to go because it keeps the feet elevated and keeps the blood pressure lower to stop bleeding. It’s the correct decision. Also, I’m one of the firefighters in that video

No, the cow was just startled by him and wanted to run back into the building, the gate was closed however, so it turned back. Been around cows enough, they aren't that smart. xD

- From shoplifting to grand larceny-- what a leap! - BTW, it's awesome that that cow guided the policeman to the fence-- and that the policeman followed him. - Matt and his truck being stuck under that bridge makes me wonder... how many people who die in a car accident that includes going over an embankment, live for 7 or 8 days before expiring from dehydration and exposure? That's a horrible thought. - Tip for ANYONE (police or private) that has to rescue a cat in a tree. Either call the fire department or call a tree service. They both have the right equipment and experience with trees. And kitties. I once had a cat stuck up a tree. It was at least 20 feet up to the first branch. So my husband took a bucket and a rope and swung it up over that first branch where the cat was waiting. After a few minutes, the cat figured out what to do, hopped in the bucket and we lowered him down. Cats can be very smart when they need to be. ;)

About someone wrecking over an embankment and not being found - there’s a rly cool news story I saw video on the other day about this happening to a guy he wasn’t found for 6 days!!! He lived surprisingly. A fisherman found him and called police. There is Body cam footage of them cutting him out of his truck. He lost one leg below the knee! Was crazy. I also remember another story a long time ago about a woman being reported missing and she had wrecked and wasn’t found til awhile later but this was years ago and I can’t remember what happened with that story idr if she was found alive and how long it was or anything

the cow didnt guide the cop to anything lol it just was trying to run to the gate bc thats where it is herded into normally, it was just running the same direction as the cop bc thats where the gate was, the cop could see it better than we can in the video lol. As for the one you mentioned about getting into an accident and being there 7 or 8 days, exposure and injuries is what will do you in not dehydration (Depending on local temps ofc) inside that kind of timeframe. You can go almost 2 weeks without water and assuming the temp isnt past 80 for a prolonged period, higher temps drain your body faster

You can barely see the bird running out of the net and it leaves behind a bunch of feathers, so when he's removing the feathers at 23:40 he looks like he's flailing the bird around 😂

I'm from & live in Spokane and that was just 1 of 2 fires going on at the same time, in different areas 💔 & the wind had all of a sudden changed directions including jumping across roads and highways!! So glad those officers, firefighters & families made it out ok. The Full body cam vid is insane & heart stopping. Spokane really came together as a strong community during & after.

I’d risk it to save animals as well.

You probably already know this, in which case, I apologize for the "fun fact", but turkeys and chickens ARE flying birds. The domesticated ones are just bad at it because they are bred fat and "top heavy". I still wouldn't have just dropped that turkey out a window, either. No telling whether it would have worked out well, lol. Oh yeah... I LOVE "WKRP". One of the best shows of its time. 👍

Oh that poor man that was trapped under the bridge for so long. This is why my grandfather taught me it is better to hit an animal than to wreck trying to swerve to miss a deer or any other animal when on the hwy driving a high speed. Not that I would hit a dog or anything on a town street mind you. I've had to hit a deer before and one ran into the side of our car once. It was sad, but it probably saved our lives. One deer that ran into us ran off after it recovered shortly. We harvested the other deer for much needed food. Both were called into Arkansas fish and game. TY to all the LEO's that risk all to care for us. Fires are terrifying...how scary when they were driving through that wildfire. My gosh. So glad that the farmer left in time. Great collection.

Think I was west of Spokane during that fire watching the devastation on the news. Lots of damage with farms and animals near hwy 2. Drove through there on the way to Anacortes. No smoke till I left for Boise. Smoke the whole way 500+ miles.

Yeah I was West of there near the Hood Canal area and the smoke was thicker than I've ever seen it. It was combined with the smoke blowing from the Canadian fires too, couldn't hardly be outside without a respirator.

That was one tough pool cover.

The gray fire (In Spokane) was a terrifying experience, although I lived in the country and experienced it a lot. This one was different, however, It was just a few miles from my house in the city of Cheney. We couldn't go outside for days because of the smoke, there was a huge plume of smoke billowing out of the fire. The fire destroyed so much, It was rather traumatizing.
