Don’t post much, but just wanted to say I really love seeing these boutique hotels around Japan. Last time I was there was in 2005 and mainly stayed at business hotels, so it’s been great seeing these smaller alternatives to seek out for a future trip. Thanks!

Fantastic location to stay while in Kyoto. The 20 piece concept is rather interesting. I think it’ll be fun for a few close friends or two couples. Totally mesmerized by your “hide and seek” approach to avoiding being seen from the mirrors. I think it is a lot of fun.

Another excellent video. A nice hotel and a good room. A bargain price for 4 people. You should have picked the Beatles record to play in your room!! Yes, I have been up Kyoto Tower but it was over 10 years ago. If I remember there were some good views from the top. I also have a gas fire in my house. I need it in the Winter when the temperatures really go down in the UK but I've got to say I prefer a proper fire using wood that crackles in the flames. Take care of yourself and have a good week.

Hotel looked stylish ..love the record player and the nice cosy fireplace...lot of homes here in the UK have fireplaces ...it's lovely in winter 😄. One would think that Kyoto would be exciting enough to not have time to stay in your room besides for sleeping. I wouldn't care for climbing into my bed from the foot or the concrete wall look. The bathroom looked really nice. I don't know, it seems a little cheap to sell amenities, but whatever... when I travel I bring my own anyways. I don't remember seeing bath towels, did I miss them?

Yes, they offer bath towels :) I hardly see that hotels in japan doesn't offer it.

The corridors would be too dark for me, I like the room design. A record player in a hotel room is unusual. And the fact that you get pyjamas everywhere is also different from Europe or Canada. The food looked very appetising.

I think you told me that when I stayed in TUNE STAY HOTEL :D they have a similar concept :D If you can have pajamas everywhere you go, it's really easy!

the most shocking part of the video is when I saw the balmuda toaster LOL really didn't expect the hotel to provide something like that. for those who didn't know, it is a toaster priced about 300usd. in where I live, most people would use a 7usd oven to toast their bread 😂
