I'm going to try staring in peoples eyes more and utter less words. The pregnant pause, the looking at my watch. "Ill get back to you", and don't. Change my phone number with the first time they jump or try to jump my boundary. My peace is number 1.

Great content, as usual. When Stoics engage others it's suggested not to act in a selfish or ego-driven manner while some would even speculate that avoiding evil is also a worthy goal when engaging the sensibilities of difficult people. Pushing people one way or another has built-in risks that can be completely unknown, even with the best intentions.

What happens when you don’t have supportive people. What happens when the narcissist is your “wife”, who you share 2 young kids with and don’t want to lose your family? The answer can be expensive!

Go no contact, they try to get attention. When you ignore them, get on with your life, they find ways of tormenting you to get attention. Spray weedkiller over plants, take parcels from your doorstep, take bird food from your bird feeders. Neighbours make strange noises that annoy you, such as low bass sounds. Leave them on when they are out. Wake you at night with sounds that come from a speaker on their side of the wall or ceiling. What is a person being pursued by the narcissist meant to do?

I had to watch this one. You know the saddest thing about certain people vis they eventually kill the goose that lays the golden egg. Not because they're stupid, but because they're disconnected. And they're often the most courageous, intelligent people! That's why arguing with them often is impossible and they bring out your aggressive side. My boyfriend's ex twice attacked him with a knife. The 2nd time he was lucky to live. To his credit he refused to give evidence to put his ex away, because of the children. But he's something else.I must need this *ucking challenge!😂
