Yes I have been v v kind to people and then have found that I have been exploited. It is amazing what people will do.I have spent time with people at all 'levels' of society and then found my genary been taken down the path.I am actually bored with kind of dynamic.I have learnt to not share my personal details with anyone. I no longer put trust in people that are not competent in understanding. I do not have time in eg confiding with people who actually have an interest in white acting. I am v v compassionate however there are strong boundaries.Words of experience .Silence is often better than share in stories for ill gain.

I have discovered that it is fine to be kind to some . But, to be indifferent to many others

yeah in my own so called existence I'm tired of being nice cuz no matter what one does they always end up getting f*cked !!!!!!! though I'm still nice to certain people just because that's who I am I know in myself personally I have changed but not for the better , I use to be a people person once long long ago but now that's all changed ever since an ex parent betrayed me behind my back , oh i'm not feeling sorry for myself , nawww i'm just not caring about it any more it's like now i have a I don't care attitude now , as Joker once said in one of his Joker quotes , I'm not heartless , I've just learned how to use my heart less. and i quite like this Stoicism teaching. this is like just up my alley :) . love ya man.

but of course Forgiveness is always a must for me personally but it doesn't mean that I personally will continue to tolerate any down playing of my feelings and thoughts and Spiritual beliefs , Be careful what you tolerate your teaching people how to treat you. - from the Joker quotes.

All good deeds are supposed to be rewarded by God and not people in the ultimate. You please God most of all when you are kind. If youre not kind, you do not live up to humanity's purpose of displaying the Image of God. You are darkness without kindness.
