I just noticed the absence of a sports anchor in the open... this was right after Mike Fabrizio left.

Northeast PA is far from a boring place to live, especially recently (The revival of Scranton, Hazleton's illegal immigration battle, the expansion of the Poconos becoming "Wall Street West", etc.). As a lifelong resident of the area, I can assure you NEPA isn't as boring as some perceive. And besides that, Mike Lewis very much respected & loved here in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area, and he has said he enjoys this area a great deal. WVEC's loss very much became WNEP's gain.

Yep. It's just a coincidence. This particular Mike Lewis is at WNEP in Scranton. He must've really wanted to be a main anchor to move from a nice place like Tidewater to an incredibly boring place like Northeast PA.
