120-SPEED 1000 WATT PEDAL/ELECTRIC HYBRID QUAD - RevolUTion eQuad FS XL - Utah Trikes Custom Build

FEAST YOUR EYES! This Revolution eQuad comes with some MAJOR upgrades including a 12-speed Pinion, a 1000W Motor AND full suspension. This UTCustom Revolution eQuad XL is wider and longer than our standard eQuad and has the 26x4 inch fat wheels as opposed to the 20 inch wheels. It's got 120-speed gearing which makes it a great climber and allows you to hit higher speeds on the flat. It handles trails like a champion and feels like it FLOATS down the pavement. Hope you guys enjoy! We certainly did.

If you moved the rear seat struts outward, you could set up something like a mini pickup bed. That would be handy for hauling camping, fishing or hunting gear

I would love this with a matching trailer for long-distance bike-packing, as an auto substitute for full-bore grocery supply runs, etc. I would like full suspension front and back and I think I would prefer the headlights to be mounted behind the front bumper instead of in front of it. And finally, I'm wondering, as an adventurous 77 year-old, what a machine like this would set me back?

I found out that I qualified for an adaptive bike a while back and was given very few options… I told them that I would be using the rails to trails areas mainly and that going up hill would be my biggest problem. The gave me a recumbent reverse trike that was only usable on solid paths/ walkways/ roads..and zero power or power assist. I’m not sure how it works but I think after so much time I can get this one replaced like my wheelchair. I highly doubt I’ll be able to get what I think is best for me, but instead whatever’s the cheapest that meets my/ the needs they choose to fit the mold that’s best for them. One can only dream of something like this…. I reached out to a few places to see if they worked with any civilian programs that help Vets get stuff they need, like wounded warrior and stuff like that, that’s when I learned that me braking my back at work (even though it happened on duty)didn’t qualify for any of those big name charities. Only combat injured Vets qualify , in 97% or higher of those programs. I just gave up trying. It’s not like my incredibly fixed income has much to spare to save for something like this.

Would be nice for me except ... I would have a hard time getting off it ... Too low to the ground ... And the center stalk inhibits access as I can't raise my feet up that high ... But I can see it being used by someone with a greater range of motion ... Change the foot power to rowing motion for arm power and eliminate center stalk ... Easier disabled access ...

How about also having a enclosing body on some of these quadricycles like there is on velomobiles? It gets darned cold wintertime in Canada, where I have experienced -50 f. at times while trying to ride either a fat tired bicycle or an adult tricycle. I can "see" the sense of four wheels as I have occasionally spilt while on the trike.
