Just a quick idea about the souvenirs... perhaps you can get small fridge magnets from your travels and make it a collection feature in the van. Good luck to you both.

Great idea. I was looking for patches that I could sew onto a pillow or blanket but they’re hard to find.

Just discovered your channel and really enjoying watching your videos. We are on a similar journey with plans to spend half of our year or more in the US and Canada traveling around in a Class B that we build out while renting out our properties back here in Australia. So many changes and choices. :-)

That's a great list! Never really thought about it but it all makes a lot of sense. We do still go to Costco however (when we can find one near us anyways) because we love buying groceries from there. Right after a trip we do have to deal with not having space to put everything away for a day or two but since we have 5 people to feed even Costco portions don't last long in our van 😆

Love Costco too, especially the organic fruits and veggies but we’re a little short on space. Sounds like you have a bigger crew 😊

@@JenandGuy haha yes we can go thru food a bit faster I'm sure. But you certainly have much more storage space than us!

Maybe I could do this...kind of live like this already except for toiletries! I have a vanity full of different products. 🤦🏻‍♀️ minimizing more I would attempt. Taking away my walk around and being alone space, not sure. Love watching y'all tho. Keep it up 💕

Being alone space will potentially be an issue for us since we have different sleeping habits so we'll see how it goes 😂

Are you additionally thinking about how to cut back on plastics with what you do buy? Like TP that doesn’t come in plastic wrap? Shampoo bars (Lush) instead of plastic bottles of shampoos and soaps?

Cutting back on plastic and waste overall is important to us. We’ve tried TP without plastic and like it. Shampoo bars haven’t been good (Ethique) but we use a shampoo (Olaplex) that is concentrated and uses a dime amount per wash so it lasts forever. Thanks for bringing it up. Such an important issue.

I “feel bad” that you can’t take your eggs cooker, but make sure you keep eating plenty of eggs because they are good for you! Also I am curious if you guys are planning to do the conversion yourselves or have decided on a local company to help you. I am in LA and since we have converted our sprinter van here with the help of 2 local companies, and have learned a lot, would be happy to share information if you have any questions (from insulation to insurance:)
