The gift of the magi is about selfless love. The people loved their significant other so much they gave up their most important possessions to make the other person happy. They were not unhappy in the end because they still had each other.
strange pink toy is a Boohbah, British exercise show for toddlers from the creators of Teletubbies. Designed to be interactive, Boohbah encourages children to move, dance and create stories while exploring science, technology and fantasy. only ran for 3 years 2003 to 2006.

I used to watch Boobah throughout my childhood, my mom would always make me turn it off because she said they were really scary 😂
I'm glad you took a couple days off, CB. You had a really rough go of it in Ohio. You put out an enormous amount of content. You're the best.
Carpetbagger, you always make my day a little bit brighter. Thanks for showing us your adventures.

Those ribs look so good enjoy carpetbagger
Your lunch looked really good. I love baby back ribs. I love collard greens. My mom is from Mississippi and used to make collards. She also made 2 types of cornbread: hot water and buttermilk cornbread. The buttermilk cornbread was made in a cast iron cornstick pan. I used to dip the hot water cornbread into the pot liquor from the collard greens. The hot water cornbread was made in a regular cast iron pan.
It's the love for another and sacrifice one will make to make another happy. Sold pocket watch, for combs, sold hair for chain for said pocket watch......it's a beautiful vicious circle of love for another. I can definitely relate and appreciate that story. Thanks Jacob for taking the time to share that......that hit me probably harder than most.
The moral of the story of the gift of the maji is when you sacrifice something you love for someone you love and that is greatest gift of all.
I definitely recommend visiting Luray Caverns in Page County, Va. The breathtaking caverns, couple of museums, and a garden maze. Definitely worth the visit!
Thanks for the entertainment on this lovely Saturday. Have a wonderful weekend
Awesome you are back there. I remember being drunk-ish and seeing you walk by right around that ATM area on a St Patricks day(night) a few years ago and me not knowing anything other than to yell "Hey, Carpetbagger"... Was awesome randomly meeting you then. And I must say despite not being there in about 2 years, I've always loved the Pinball museum the few times I've been there.
That lunchbox room brought back so many feels from my childhood! I had forgotten about a lot of those shows 😊
Thank you, Sir Bagster. I appreciate you!
The lunchbox museum was amazing. I had the original Star Wars lunchbox, as well as the Six Million Dollar Man. My brother had that E.T. one. I remember some of those pinball machines. For just a moment, it was 1976, and I'm eight years old, riding my bike to the bowling alley to play pinball. Thanks for the time warp, my friend.

You and Jackson Browne's son both had The Six Million Dollar Man lunchbox in 76/77. You can see him holding it in photographs from the Running on Empty concert tour.

I've been to Asheville before, it felt like a lot of people squeezed into a small area. I prefer the towns outside of there, like Waynesville. I love Western North Carolina, hoping to make it back one day.

The lunchbox museum was GREAT to watch. As a kid, I used that Disney "monorail" lunchbox to store my Viewfinder & slides.
It's good to have you back in NC!

I want that The Secret of Nimh lunchbox so bad. Thanks for showing it Jacob!
I remember watching Lance Link when I was little because my dad had recorded a bunch of episodes onto VHS tapes. It's a funny show, I would love to have that lunchbox! I enjoyed seeing all those lunchboxes, the metal ones were the best, thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Love the old games and collectibles. Thank you! Glad you had a couple days to be with family and decompress 🙂
Myself and some others did the Lazoom Halloween tour and had a blast, it was hilarious. I love seeing you in Asheville and look forward to more from this region.
I live in Asheville and have never been to any of the places you showed us. I'm going to Rocket Fizz on my next day off! 😁 Thanks Jacob! PS: We could never forget you!
Wow that lunchbox museum was awesome! Something I’ve always wanted to collect if I had the space!
I was actually planning on going to Asheville this weekend but didn’t get to. Thanks for showing me some stuff to do there when I finally get to go.
Always a good day when you visit pinball places. Keep up the good work jacob!
Love the lunch box museum. I have The Man From U.N.C.L.E., The Monroes and The Waltons.
I was just at that pinball museum the other day! No joke I thought to myself "I wonder if Carpetbagger's been here" lol

Butch Patrick from the Munsters was in the TV show Lidsville
Those lunch boxes were awesome! Man that place looks fun!
Thanks for showing the lunchbox museum. I remember having a transformer lunchbox and thermos when I was a kid, but I would have sold my sister for a Snorks lunchbox! Loved the Snorks.
Glad you took time off, and close to back home, not far from where I live, Greenville, SC. 😊
I loved the pinball museum and the old games! So enjoyed this trip! The lunchbox place = Very Cool!!! Great job Jacob!!
I'm really happy you made it home After everything it's good to refresh
you do such a good job showing us all kinds of fun places to see
So Fun! Thanks for sharing 🥰
Wow loved this video Ashland looks like a great town. I love the museums you went to. We have Rocket Fizz here in Wichita, we love it. But that one store you went in with pennants I about fell over I had that Hawaii one, always got one everywhere we went. Then love the pinball and arcade places. Love my 80s were my jr hi, hs, and college. That brought back alot of memories back. Safe travels and have fun
That lunch box museum was awesome 👍
Hey You All!
Welcome back Jacob. Take time whenever you need it. We’ll be here.
There is a new taxidermy museum in Pigeon Forge at Lumberjack Square called "Mountain Wildlife Museum" that you should definitely check out.
I'd load up a crate of sodas and spend my days in those museums happiley even if it meant having Wolverine watch me pee, Pinballs one of the few things these days that makes me super happy. Your fluffy friend I think was something called either an Oobie or Oobah, vaguely remember them being advertised when I was younger but definately didn't have one, probably aimed at the Furby crowd as I think they popped out a mini one after a while of being raised.
Thank you Mr Carpetbagger
This year will be the 50th anniversary of KNOTT'S SCARY FARM! Somewhere to go to this October.
it is always good to take a little time off and recharge.
We need to bring back these kinds of lunchboxes. I don't think these tin ones were really ever a thing in the UK. There's a really cool vintage arcade just a short train trip from where I live. It's so cool being able to try them out!
I live in the area!! So cool to have you here and to know that you’re from the area. On your way back to Tennessee if that’s where you’re going stop by Haywood Smokehouse. It is on the Hazelwood exit. They are amazing.
The O'Hare Airport keeps being a sighting spot of Mothman and I'd like the pennant because of that.
Welcome back…missed you and hope you had a good rest…
Welcome home, I live near the South Asheville area, I dont usually go downtown though, stay mostly in the South Asheville area and Hendersonville. Thanks for the tour
Love this video. Makes me homesick being from that area but now living cross country. ❤
That is the best , some of my family lives there , but once gone to twelve bones i was hooked grits i miss the most.
Thought you were taking some time off...You probably need it...but enjoyed seeing this latest video pop up!

Over due for a couple of days to rest up after all the on the road troubles. Great that you got to visit family .That lunch looked good although collard greens have never appealed to me. So many interesting places but I really loved the lunch box hall of fame. You find the most interesting facts about things often overlooked. Don't know how you do it. Great video Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
Your shows are awesome
Good to see you. I was getting worried.

Thank you for yet another Awesome Video 📹 ❤️
i lived in waynesvile for awhile love it.....
Lunch boxes used to be popular before I was brought to the world. It could be popularized just in case students are fearful about the inflation on the school lunch.
Enjoyed the lunch box review.
Great video Jacob! Thank you 😁
Yes, HeathCliff did come first he was created in 73 and Garfield was in 78.😊
I think the point of the tumbler full of beads is to show what an astronomical task it is to find stuff out in space.
Lunchbox heaven.✨😽💫
That meal seems more like a home cooked meal. Glad to see you enjoyed it
I look forward to your videos. Take care out there my friend
Toe of Satan is no joke, my friend got me one for my birthday in 2019 & I still have it. Sweet hot like fireball candy, but like x20 the hotness
love your videos
yesss great museum!
My husband made me watch the Secret Chimp show, I think we have it on DVD somewhere, so ridiculous. 🤣
I did not know Rocket Fizz was a chain! I went to the one in Indy and loved it
Cheerwine has indeed reached beyond the south. 😎 I get it at Jim’s like you mentioned, but we’re also seeing it at Sheetz in some of their Ohio locations. This includes both bottled and fountain options. ❤ Sheetz. And wow did that rib combo look amazing.
Hi there Jacob, the science museum is great the pinball museum is also great, thanks for sharing. Stay safe.👍😎📸 12 bones barbecue making me hungry lol☺️
I love thus episode! I collect movie memorabilia and I'm building a retro room filled with my old toys and lun h box etc. I also collect movie posters and I just built a light up Movie poster box.
I love all those signs
Boobah is that freaky little pink thing. I used to love that show when I was a baby it’s absolutely terrifying and extremely subliminal lol
I was just there, a few days ago. Wait you live in NC now.....awesome. definitely have a few places to point you too.
The pink monster is a BooBah! Dancing multicoloured blobs that make farting noises when they move. The show also features a family unit in sketches that usually included the narration comment ‘somebody’s coming’ 😂😂 I’d love to see the presentation they used to make the show 😂😂 good for a giggle and they are really cute 😉😅 x
the lunchboxes were cool
