I love how, when Pete asks why Aussies shorten everything, Pete II just shrugs. I had the same reaction. I don't know why we do it either. I think Australian English is very economical. If we can find an easier way to say something, we will!

The utter irony of Santa in a firetruck during bushfire season. XD Haven’t had the pleasure of seeing that one but peak Aussie humour right there. Also you mentioned reindeer but didn’t mention the six white boomers. XD - The Aussie version of Santa riding a sleigh pulled by reindeer is that he swaps them for six big white old man kangaroos (boomers) because it’s summer not winter at Christmas time down here. That or he’s driving a rusty Holden ute, ‘ute’ is what Aussies call a ‘pickup truck’. Aussie Christmas Songs I’m talking about are: Aussie Jingle Bells Six White Boomers

I wanted to have a special Chrissie last year, loads of exy prezzies and barbie on Christmas day, but everything got canceled just before Christmas Eve. We had lashed out on the new Christmas tree to impress the Santa. Any ways, We had a great boxing day later. I hope this year will go according to plan. Merry Christmas and happy new year. Mahdi

As an Armenian "the first nation who accepts Christianity" we don't celebrate Christmas on 25-Th of December. We celebrate it on 6-Th of January and it is more formal ceremony in church. Santa comes to our homes on the new years day. Which is 31-st of December 🙂

Hello Pete and Merry Christmas to you and your family . Here, no barbie, in France, it's winter and it's cold outside. But last night, we ate a good meal on Christmas Eve.We watched Christmas movies. I offered some little games to my son. A treasure hunt through the house, not exy little prezzies, to keep him waiting while he waits, Santa. Santa Claus came by last night, and left under The Christmas Tree a lot of (exxxxxyyy!!) Prezzies for my 6 year old son. After a good breakfast and lunch, "brunch", we played for a long time and now we are watching Christmas cartoons. Tonight, for Christmas, another good meal !!! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!!

Firstly, I was thinking what would be the fastest and most effective body armour to make. And I actually came up with the idea of duct tape brigandine. For example, you buy 5mm thick titanium plates and then duct tape them together as a vest with shoulders and you could even do a brigandine helmet. The squares need to be about the size of your hand or palm of your hand. In addition, you could also do 12mm thick aluminium squares or 4mm steel squares for the duct tape brigandine. However, your steel brigandine is going to be heavier and provide slightly less protection. Lastly, you can expect the titanium and aluminium brigandine to stop 10mm and 11mm Glock rounds at point blank range and the steel to stop 9mm at point blank range. Stops the tasers also. *Aluminium Shield Shop* -------------------------------------- *Bolted Lounge Room Buckler (540 ft•lbf)* Made with: 12mm thick aluminium sheet 5.5 kg in weight and 38cm diameter Hand Gun Resistances : -Bullet Proof to all 9mm -Bullet Proof to hollow tip 10mm -Medium Bullet resistant to all other 10mm -Low Bullet Resistant to all 11mm NATO Rifle Resistances: -Low bullet resistant to .22 calibre -Very low bullet resistant to .30 calibre -Very low bullet resistant to 12 gauge shotgun pods *Engraved Composite Shield (1100 ft•lbf)* Made with: 4mm Titanium and 4mm Aluminium 10 kg in weight and 62cm diameter Hand Gun Resistances: -Bullet proof to all hollow tip 11mm -Very high bullet resistant to all other 11mm -Low bullet resistant to hollow tip 12mm NATO Rifle Resistances: -High bullet resistant to .22 calibre -Low bullet resistant to .30 calibre -Low bullet resistant to 12 gauge shotgun pods *Shield of the Stars (1470 ft•lbf)* Made With: 6mm Titanium and 2mm Aluminium 16 kg in weight and 68cm diameter Hand Gun Resistances: -Bullet Proof to all 11mm -Medium bullet resistant to hollow tip 12mm -Medium bullet resistant to all other 12mm NATO Rifle Resistances: -Bullet Proof to .22 calibre -Medium bullet resistant to .30 calibre -Medium bullet resistant to 12 gauge shotgun pods -Extremely low bullet resistant to .50 calibre *note#* For high-low bullet resistances to deflect the round it requires 10°-45° angles or distances of 30+ metres.
