I'm from South Sudan. I didn't go to school when I was little because I was born during the war and to make matters worse our Country was invaded by the neighboring country. So it left us with no choice but to leave our Homeland and we went to other country to seek refuse, to make long story short I came to United States with my husband and my son. I started English as an adult learner it was difficult I got headaches when speaking English at first. Learning a language is a non- stop journey you have to be consistent. It's just you even native speakers learn something new every single day. Thank you so much for sharing your stories with us.

Do not believe it. She does not have an accent. Living in the US for several years, I have noticed that the accent will be the first the sign that you are an ESL. This is a SCAM. she wants to sell you something.

Well done Anna, you are right, the only way to be better in anything it's to push yourself every day. It's impossible to learn something and progress if you stay on your comfort zone. Our society should says and shows more often to new generation the effort to reach the best you want to. Congrats and carry on as I do too because I am frensh and year after year speaking, listening, phoning, reading, watching become more confortable for me as well.

I am truly impressed. I work with a lot of Ukrainians here in the U.S. and every time I hear them speaking in their native language it just sounds like gibberish to me. I imagine myself trying to learn their language and it just seems so impossible to me. So for you to be speaking my language at this level is mind blowing. There was a moment in watching this video I realized you're not an American and that you just acquired American english, I got a little freaked out because I was so impressed.

There are millions of people speaks just like her or even better but Needless to say English is the most beautiful and rich language in the world.Your mother tongue became part of me ,my daily life and even stopped speaking in my language because of willing to learn this delicate language

Hello, Anna. I’m Japanese and can speak American English like you even though I’ve never lived in any native English countries. You shared how you have become fluent in speaking English in this video and I realized I have done nearly the same things as you to be a fluent speaker of English. Omg, me too! I’m from Malaysia and at best we speak a non-standard variety of English here but I used mostly similar methods as her too! I’m glad it works for you. My fluency is probably just 70% but I try my best to be as fluent as possible. I’m glad I’m alone in this kind of journey.

I've been trying to master this language for quite long time and after watching your video it just opened a whole universe of possibilities for me of how to start the Process again following your recommendations. Thank you 😊

My parents and their families came to the U.S. from Sicily in the early 1970s. They always told us that English was by far the hardest language for them to learn.

What amazed me is not how fluent you speak, it is your pronunciation. You sound almost like a native English speaker. You knew which accent you preferred. A lot of people still struggle to distinguish British English and American English after years of learning. How could you master your pronunciation in just two years? It's unbelievable. Every single learner knows that the longer the sentence, the harder it is to use the right tone. Please don't just tell me it is all because of practice. The only thing I can believe is that you are truly gifted with language.

Very inspiring indeed. I really love the fluency level this respectabel person has reached and at the same time I feel so good. Why? Well, simply because I've done almost every single thing the teacher here has done over like 2 years and luckily it worked wonders for me, too. I'm completely thankful for the current level I've reached at speaking. However, I'd like to be honest with you friends and say that there are still many contexts where I would feel a little confused when have to answer or direct a question on that newly handled topic. Nevertheless, I believe that this is absolutely normal and okay, since I used to have troubles even talking about my personal information a couple of years ago; fortunately, now such kind of words comes out of my mouth naturally and spontaneously. In brief, I would love to say that I, as a foreign teacher of English, agree with all what you say here ma'am: it's mainly a matter of🌺 hard work, patience, determination and consistency🌺 May God bless you dear teacher🙏 PS I love your pitch🌺🌺🌺

Your accent is amazing. You're in one of them who has a great accent along with their pronunciation. I listened to you at 1.25 speed. So that I can understand natives of English language as well. Whenever I listen to natives, I don't get 100% of what they are saying. A teacher suggested in his video that listen to language teachers at 1.5. By doing so, you can understand natives easily. I have just watched this video lesson at 1.25 speed and got everything.

I like one thing the most about you, that is making someone understand the issue with your own knowledge and experience.
