    Aw, that's a cute name! Are you doing any training to stop the nips? The earlier you start training the better and poodles are very smart so they catch on quickly! :)

    Can you please link the monthly flea/tick treatment you use?

    The most popular ones we have access to here is Nexguard or Bravecto - both have good reviews and have worked for us and many dog owners we know. Depending on which treatment you get will depend if you administer monthly or every 3 months, the one you give your dog also depends on your dog's weight (important!). I would recommend speaking to your vet to choose the best brand for your dog and choosing the right tablet based on their weight. If you know your dog's weight it makes it easier to choose!

    Hi! I have a problem with my toy poodle that started a few days ago when my parents decide to let him sleep in the living room on his own. He now sleeps throughout the morning until the evening. He is not that active anymore, and is not interested in toys as much. He doesn't like the foods he used to like (chicken) and is not interested in food generally. He bites his paws and licks them a lot. However, he still get excited about walks and is active after walks. He is now 2 year old. Is there something wrong with him? Please help 🙏😔

    Hey! It sounds like something could be up with your pup, I would recommend checking in with your vet and telling them about the changes in appetite and behaviour. If in doubt or you have a feeling like something is wrong seek advice from a vet you can trust as soon as possible. Wishing you the & your toy poodle the best!🙏🏼💕

    Can we leave them for more than 10 hours?

  • @PoodlesandParrots

    @PoodlesandParrots

    Not regularly, we usually don't leave Lambo for more than 6-8 hours and it doesn't happen often, once in a blue moon. If we know we will be gone longer than that we arrange a pet sitter (family/friend) to come to walk him and spend time with him/all our pets!

    How much does your Toy Poodle weigh? I am afraid that I may be overfeeding him.

  • @PoodlesandParrots

    @PoodlesandParrots

    A healthy weight will depend on their height & health - you should check with your vet to determine your dog's healthiest weight. Lambo is quite tall and has long legs but he is also very active so we know he likes to eat a bit more when he is active. It also depends on what age they are at!

    That’s great! Dogs are our BFFs! It seems you think we did this on purpose to Lambo & that’s not the case - when we got him it had already been done and we had no choice. Unfortunately it’s a popular practice in the country where we got him. 👎🏻
