100 idioms . An extremely helpful video . But I am afraid that one cannot grasp all the idoms as they came thick and fast . I request you to make another or several videos explaining each idiom slowly so that they will sink in .

One things I would like to mention: if you turn on subtitles + you try to read what is written in your video itself (the expression + your example), these two things overlay each other and it is hard to read! I'm a bit long in the tooth - somewhat worse for wear so please acccept my apologies and make do with what we have. 1 hold on to your hat - get ready for something fast and exciting 2. the journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step 3. To Put one's foot in it - to accidently say something embarrassing (Fettnäpfchen)kk 4. to pass an exam with flying colours - succede very easy 5. far fetched - difficult to believe 6. no spring chicken - not young (old) 7. word of mouth - from a contact 8. I'll take a raincheck - some other day (not today) 9. above board - legal legitimate 10. (wakey wakey) rise and shine - it's time to get out of bed 11. Dont't beat yourself up - Don't blame or critisize yourself 12. Can I pick your brains about something - Ask an expert for advise/opinion 13. Just what the doctor ordered - The thing I most need at the moment 14. It rings a bell - It says something to me but I can't remember 15. Once in a blue moon - Very rarely 16. A last ditch effort/attempt - a final attempt 17. A spitting image - a person who looks identical. 18. To spend a penny - point terrence at the tiles. 19. To hit the road - to leave. 20.
