ℹ️ With the ingredients listed in the recipe you get about 12 delicious patties.
🥣 Filling ingredients:
3.5oz | 100g | 1/2 cup dry green lentils
10.5oz | 300ml | 1 1/4 cup water
1/4tsp salt
1 onion
1 garlic clove
1/4tsp Korean chilli flakes (gochugaru)
20g | 1oz coriander
🥣 Patties base ingredients:
2lb | 1kg | 4 large size potatoes
1 large onion
1tbsp flour
salt and black pepper for seasoning
🧑‍🍳Cooking tips:
❗Feel free to add your favourite herbs and spices to the recipe to get your favourite flavour.
❗You can substitute Korean chilli flakes (gochugaru)for crushed red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper.
🥣 Method:
Place 3.5oz | 100g | 1/2 cup dry green lentils in to a pot
Add 10.5oz | 300ml | 1 1/4 cup water
Simmer for 30 minutes
Sauté 1 chopped onion for about 3 minutes until translucent
Mince 1 garlic clove
Peel and grate 2lb | 1kg | 4 large size potatoes
Place potatoes in to a mesh bag
Grate 1 large onion
Remove the excess liquid
Add 1tbsp flour
ℹ️ I use brown rice flour. If you like you can use any flour instead
Season with salt and black pepper
Mash cooked green lentils and let them to cool down
Add cooked onion and garlic and 1/4tsp Korean red chilli flakes.
ℹ️ You can substitute Korean chilli flakes (gochugaru) for crushed red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper.
Add 20g | 1oz coriander and mix well.
To make the patties shape grated potato into balls, then flatten it into a circle.
Add about 1-2tbsp lentils filling
Carefully “seal” and flatten the patties slightly
Cook over medium heat with the lid on for about 5-7 minutes
Flip patties over and add some water (about 4tbsp) and cook with the lid on for another 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve these delicious veg patties with a dairy-free yogurt or salsa and enjoy!
ℹ️ You can have these patties hot or cold. I like both versions.
They are so delicious! 😋

Do you mean the lentils? They look brown but they are cooked green lentils.

What's the yellow stuff already in the pan that you fry the onions in? Seems like a crucial thing to put in the recipe since oils/fats contribute greatly to the flavour of any dish.

When I saw all that 'grating and squeezing' I'm like "oh forget it" lol. But I'll say it's my loss because those patties look fabulously delicious. Of all the vegan channels I've ever tried to get into your's is by far the best. I love your food ideas. Blessings to you and family. Thank you.

More than half the fun of cooking is in the preparation of the ingredients, grating, squeezing etc.

Sometimes I cheat, er, adapt a recipe to my available time and inclination. In this case, mashed potatoes with cooked diced onion would give a decent approximation. WCV always makes amazing food but sometimes a shortcut version can be good, too. Use cold mashed potatoes and adjust the cooking time as needed, if you were so inclined.

🪐THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God is saving man from the imminent destruction of this old world" (How many beings are there living and multiplying in the vast expanse of the universe, repeatedly following the law of life, according to the same unchanging rule, those who die are brought to destruction the living, and those who are have dead. So mankind cannot help but ask themselves: why are we alive? And why do we even have to die? Humanity does not know who is supreme of all things in the whole universe much more than He does not know the beginning and the future of humanity. Mankind lives only compulsory, in the midst of this law. No one can escape it and no one can change it, because in the midst of all things and in the heavens there is only one who is from eternity to eternity who holds dominion over all things. Yet He is the one who breathed the ancestors of humanity and gave life to humanity. He holds power over all things and rules all living creatures under the universe. And He calls wind, frost, snow, and rain. He laid down the heavens and the earth. His work is everywhere, His power is everywhere, His wisdom is everywhere and His authority is everywhere. Each of these laws and rules is a representation of His work, and each of them reveals His wisdom and authority-who can free themselves from His power? All things exist under His eye, and more than this, all things live under His great power. There is no doubt that your destiny depends on God's providence, and there is no doubt that God will always possess supreme power over all things.) Almighty God says “HOW many BEINGS are there LIVING and MULTIPLYING in the vast EXPANSE of the UNIVERSE, REPEATEDLY FOLLOWING the LAW of LIFE, ACCORDING to the SAME UNCHANGING RULE, THOSE who DIE are BROUGHT to DESTRUCTION the LIVING, and THOSE WHO are ALIVE REPEAT the SAME TRAGIC HISTORY of THOSE who HAVE DEAD. So MANKIND cannot HELP but ASK THEMSELVES: WHY are we ALIVE? ☀️🙏 And WHY do WE even have to DIE? WHO really RULES this WORLD? And WHO really CREATED this HUMANITY? Was HUMANITY really CREATED by MOTHER NATURE? Does HUMANITY really CONTROL its own DESTINY? .... HUMANITY does NOT KNOW who is SUPREME of ALL THINGS in the WHOLE UNIVERSE much MORE than He does NOT KNOW the BEGINNING and FUTURE of HUMANITY. MANKIND LIVES only COMPULSORILY, in the MIDST of this LAW. NO ONE can ESCAPE it and NO ONE can CHANGE it, BECAUSE in the MIDST of all THINGS and in the HEAVENS there is ONLY ONE who is from ETERNITY to ETERNITY who HOLDS DOMINION over ALL THINGS. 🙏 He is the ONE WHO has NEVER been SEEN by MAN, the ONE WHO has NEVER been KNOWN by MANKIND, who in His EXISTENCE has NEVER been BELIEVED by MANKIND. Yet He is the ONE who BREATHED the ANCESTORS of HUMANITY and GAVE LIFE to HUMANITY. He who SUPPLY and HEALTHY HUMANITY for its EXISTENCE, and GUIDES HUMANITY UNTIL the PRESENT TIME, He is the ONLY ONE WHO EXPECTS HUMANITY for LIFE. 🙏 He HOLDS POWER OVER ALL THINGS and RULES ALL LIVING CREATURES UNDER the UNIVERSE. He commands the four seasons. And He calls wind, frost, snow and rain. He gives sunshine to mankind and He also brings night. He laid down the heavens and the earth. Provides man with mountains, lakes and rivers. 🙏 And of the living things within them. His WORK is EVERYWHERE, His POWER is EVERYWHERE, His WISDOM is EVERYWHERE and His AUTHORITY is EVERYWHERE. Each of these laws and rules is a representation of His work, and each of them reveals His wisdom and authority---WHO CAN FREE THEMSELVES from His POWER? And who can remove themselves from His designs? ALL THINGS EXIST UNDER His EYE, and MORE than THIS, ALL THINGS LIVE UNDER His GREAT POWER. His work and and His power compels mankind to RECOGNIZE the TRUTH that He REALLY EXISTS and He is the SUPREME POWER OVER ALL THINGS. Nothing but Him can rule the universe, the more it can provide unceasingly to this humanity. It doesn't matter if you can recognize God's work, and it doesn't matter if you believe in God's existence. There is NO DOUBT that YOUR DESTINY DEPENDS on GOD'S PROVIDENCE, and there is NO DOUBT that GOD will ALWAYS POSSESS SUPREME POWER OVER ALL THINGS." 🙏 From "The WORD Appears in the Flesh". holy book Fulfilled in "In the beginning He was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1). ... and "When I looked up, someone handed me a book wrapped in a scroll. I opened it and I read on both sides the prayers, lamentations, and curses." (Ezekiel 2:9-10). ... "His garment was stained with blood. He was called the "Word of God" (Rev. 19:13). The kingdom He brought down and set up in the highest in the sky so that it can occupy His creation in the universe and engrave on it the entirety of His Holy name "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD" 💐 fulfillment of (Mat. 16:18) "And I say as for you, you are Peter, on top of this rock I will build my Church, that even the power of death will not prevail over it.". ... and "The Letter to the Church in Philadelphia" (Rev. 3:7-13). ... And fulfillment of "The New Jerusalem" 💫 "The Spirit enveloped me, and the angel led me to the top of a very high mountain. He showed Me Jerusalem, the Holy City, coming down from heaven from God." (Rev. 3:7-13). ... " For the time has come in the house of God for the beginning of judgment in the house of God." (1 Peter 4:17). ... It is fulfilled that God Himself is our Pastor in (Rev. 7:17) 💐 "For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their PASTOR. He will lead them to springs of life-giving water; and God will wipe the tears from their eyes" 📩 Calling and leading the sheep of God to His glorious Throne "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD"💐 to submit again to His authority so that He will continue to teach, guide and protect even in plague, famine and wild animals will not be moved by it and completely win this final battle with the big red dragon! "They say with a loud voice, "Salvation comes from the Lamb, and from our God who sits on the Throne!" (Rev 7:10). ... and it will be fulfilled that will be established above the sky/KZread in (Isaiah 2: 2 / 9:6) "On the Last Day, the mountain on which Jehovah's temple stands will stand out above all the mountains. All nations will flock there. " . . . "For a baby boy is born to us. The rule will be given to him; and he shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Almighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace." 🌺🌺

Hello Bohemian Bliss and welcome back! 🌷 🤗 Wow! It's so amazing! 🌟 🎉 So happy! 🥰 🥰 🥰 It's just made my day! You think about my video and watch it so early! Thank you so much! In my video I used just simple dairy free yogurt, it goes so good with the patties. I can also recommend the following two options: 1. Add chopped dill, pinch of salt and some chilli flakes to plant based yogurt or sour cream. 2. Tzatziki sauce. Mix dairy free yoghurt, add a bit of salt and pepper, minced garlic to taste, grated cucumber and chopped parsley or dill. Sending you my warmest greetings, good videos and my best wishes! 🌞 💖

I will not grade potatoes but bake them and mash them so I don’t have to squeeze water out. Onions can be cooked and add. I will try to make this way. I do make them with yellow lentils. 🙏 0:03

Just made these. Took longer than expected, but I am a slow cook. I thought the potatoes came out a bit under cooked and al dente. I had to steam them a lot longer than the recipe. Too thick maybe? I can't help but wonder if using cooked, mashed potatoes would simplify. Will make again but with half of the onions, they are over powering the other flavors.

Yeah, it’s not simple by my definition. Throwing mixed veges in a pan, chucking on some seasoning and herbs and spices, and throwing the lot in the oven for 45 minutes is simple. Even dahl is simple. This is complex.
