Turkish guy here ! The current minimum wage in Turkey is approximately 5k TRY so these prices are actually insane for a regular blue collar worker. Needless to say Nusr-et caters mostly to the extremely rich in Turkey or mainly foreigners (since 1 USD is around 18.65 TRY at the moment), that are looking to experience the delicious food. For anyone going to Turkey please keep in mind you can get so much better quality food and experience the culture for a fraction of the price you pay here. Anyway all this to say, great job as always Sonny, I hope you enjoyed your stay in Turkey!

I agree! I like many of the locations other channels visit as well but I can't stand the theatrics and the overly-done "THIS IS AMAZING" face(s) they make with every single bite of food they take. I honestly would like to see them be more natural and honest with their responses but that's what sets Sonny apart from all those other channels. Sonny is very honest and charismatic.

Really can't hate on him for that. Plus it was actually a fun time because everyone knows it's just a meme restaurant, even the employees.

Sunny, know what would be extraordinary. If you opened a restaurant that's big enough to facilitate all the different food cultures that you've experienced acrossed the world. And give atleast one chef 👨‍🍳 of each country to come and work at your restaurant and do a partnership business if necessary so that they could bring their own team with them. That would be more than a great legacy 👍

That would be an impossibly monumental task. There are hundreds if not thousands of unique cultures out there and each one has at least a few dozen significant dishes. Even if you chose only one dish from each culture you’d still have way too many different obstacles.
