I'm so glad you did this video after watching a short time on another channel that started the man on the lion couch was an Egyptian. I felt it was wrong and left, so I appreciate you doing this so much! Thank you!

I do not necessarily agree with the theory that you prescribe here concerning the translation of the book of Abraham. However, there is one thing that you left out that I believe is important to know as part of the story. Yes, some fragments of the papyri were found in the 1960s. However, there were large scrolls that went along with the papyri that were burnt in the Chicago fire. In fact, one of those scrolls was up to 23 ft long. So there is a lot from the papyri that we do not have, in fact, the vast majority. I do like the fact that you mentioned that. Joseph Smith calls the facsimiles representations.

yep. people fall into the trap of hyperfocusing on anti arguments they dont look at all the facts. we have very little left over from the scroll and the fragmants are likely what wasnt translated from

Thanks for taking time to comment, tartufo, but your criticism is empty. I like facts, Truth, evidence, if you can supply any, but the name calling doesn't carry any support for your opinion.

Thank you very much, tartufo, for taking the time and trouble to respond. If I am delusional, I would be very interested in knowing where and how. If you have a better interpretation, I would be interested in checking it out. In the meantime, perhaps we can give and take in a more kindly manner.
